It has all the makings of the biggest yawn in history. Brand new entities trading on the reputation and history of the old clubs. Think of it as the Meghan Markles of football!

Is it wrong to be indifferent to this all? Football is rotten to the core. A world cup in Qatar anybody? A Champions League final in Azerbaijan? Let them just f*** off. If I had my time over again, I would probably ignore football altogether. I love Palace. Am fully emotionally invested in the club, its fans, its identity and everything that goes with it. But that does not mean I like football nor care about it, let alone have to buy into this BS about FIFA or UEFA or the Premier League being the 'good' guys. All they are worried about is that they are losing control of the Goose that s***s them the golden eggs. Nothing to do with supporters or the wider culture of the game.

Agreed the FA and the other football authorities brought this on themselves by failing to stand up to the big clubs 30 years ago. This is their failure as the guardian of the game. Never got what was wrong with the old 1 to 4 division set up. Made perfect sense.

Lift sanctions on the Chelsea owner and they withdraw. Why should we? Holding the Government to ransom, no way. If this was the choice, Chelsea can do one, horrible club

I really hope the `scare` of this over the last few days will actually force something meaningful to happen. This will just resurface again in the future our game is no longer our game, and is becoming more distant. It will continue to do so unless something actually changes.

At least it seems to be falling apart and these clubs have shown their colours once again. Bridges burned within football. Hope the owners f*** right off now out of our leagues if they can't realise their masterplan.
