It seems here that if we disagree with taking the knee before games then we are automatically racist in some posters eyes.

Lets all make an assumption that a % of people who take the knee in this manner are doing so with zero knowledge about what BLM actually stands for but instead are doing it as a kindly gesture of solidarity over issues of racism in general. But perhaps this now causes real confusion and therefore it might be for the best if a new gesture is agreed upon which clears up any notion that this is political?

The gesture as you call it is already there. It called playing football together no matter what race. Far too much is spoken about race.

Ignorance is not an excuse as if someone did an innocent gesture that was deemed offensive or racist they wouldn’t be afforded the same leniency.
