The stats are as ugly as the attacking performance. Another poor 34% possession, surely now the lowest numbers in the PL at the mo ? Luckily we did not play one of the top teams as we would of taken another panning. Midfield/attack needs reshaping.

A game Roy couldnt afford to lose and we didnt. A lacklustre performance. Move on to the next game.

I am not even disappointed that we could not hold on for the win, I am just so fed up watching the best crop of players we have ever had playing such s*** football. 1 shot at home against a bottom 6 team when we have had 2 weeks to prepare for the game is the hard and fast facts behind where we now are with Roy. Everton, Southampton and Villa have all improved, and we are just going backwards. We will be in a scrap with the bottom 4 or 5 come Christmas, despite our 6-point start this season. We look like the team from the end of last season, if not worse.

Hodgson is fully into Iceland mode now. It's going to be a long hard season. He sent the team out prepared with those tactics to play Royball, it's all he knows and a change is urgently needed.

I've generally supported Roy but to play so negatively against fairly average opposition is unforgivable. Perhaps it was a good thing that we conceded in that any argument that the tactics were right goes out the window. All my thoughts exactly

We could bring in all manner of attacking players and they would still not offer any attacking threat due to the tactics employed by Hodgson.Ronaldo and Messi would pose no threat in our team.

Wards fault for the goal. The batman got nowhere near the ball apart from his offside goal all game, so how can you possibly blame Benteke for them equalising. I’m not a Benteke supporter however I’m not so blind that I blame him for anything to do with the result. Edited by Eaglecoops (18 Oct 2020 4.10pm)

Not sure which was worst, the 2nd. half debacle at Chelsea or this weeks shambles. 1 shot at home against our bitterest rivals and a dubious penalty at that. 34% possession, absolute pathetic display. Apparently we made 25 mil profit last season, SP please spend some on a decent manager. Dunk rightly sent off but what was the difference between this and Pickford's challenge yesterday.

We are like parasites how we play. We offer so little to the division and the millions of pounds we take from it. Spot on especially when you watch how Leeds play, we used to be an exciting team to watch, I remember my work colleagues saying to me they enjoyed watching us play, Bolasie and Zaha on the wings. We are so boring now, I feel embarrassed when we play on Sky, knowing my mates will be watching too. I think we have better players than Brighton, so if Potter was in charge, we would be better to watch. Key question, would Potter get us more points than Hodgson?
