He's always dreamed of playing in red and blue apparently

I would be very happy if he went to Barca. Probably get a decent fee and won’t have to listen to all the a-hole commentators in the PL saying how good he is since he left Palace. Might also add a bit of interest in Euro football for me which I lost a few years ago.

Ha ha you having a giggle son. Zaha is now only worth 15 to 20m tops. Look at the stats this year 38-4 last season 34-10 then 29-9.

Off the top of my head Olli McBurnie - Dominic Solanke, I think your having a giggle if you think Wilf is worth 15-20 Mill

Oh absolutely, even if he leaves in a huff, I would still support him at a foreign team as like it or not he’ll be a Crystal Palace representative in a way and I’d wish him well.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Wilf would never go abroad. A lot of English players have a fear of leaving home and he is one of them. Would love to see him thrive in Barcelona but it jus' ain't gon' happin.
In fact, didn't he have the chance to go to Bayern once before and he said no for that exact reason?

I'm no soothsayer, but I'm almost certain that he will be at some cack mid to Europa leage level team next season, winning faff all.

I'd say the biggest reason he won't go to Barca is that there is absolutely no way in hell they're interested in him.

If ever there was an agent leaking stories to the press to try and get the attention of top 6 clubs, this is it.

Wilf is a fantastic dribbler but his end product isn't great at all, nowhere near Barcelona standards.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I think he will go to Barcelona, on his way to the costa del sol for his annual hols

As for going abroad isn't that anywhere north of the Watford gap?

I tend to agree with you, yet I'll say that he usually draws 2 or even 3 defenders towards him. We lack the talent to profit from the imbalance, but top-flight clubs will PUNISH opponents who overload an area to contain Wilf.

He’s really not that good. Never understood all of the ‘he’s our best ever player ‘ talk.
A decent player that can easily be talked/muscled off his game.
Great skills but his crossing is poor and shooting is embarrassing (apart from the Chelsea goal).
No level of consistency, the top 4 /best teams in Europe do not have players that are a 9 one week and a 2/3 the next.
He’s done some really good things for Palace and have enjoyed some of his performances, but behind Salako as a winger for me.
Stats don’t lie and he hasn’t set the world alight for us.
Just my opinion, but looking forward to him Benteke and Sakho going so we can get our top earners down to a level the club should be at 50/60 grand a week.

Exactly Wilf is a magnet for defenders but we have failed to take advantage of the space that creates except when we had Bolasie.

Surround him with quality players where he doesn't get to be a diva and then we'll find out how good he really is. When his head is straight he wins matches on his own and that is well recognised by top coaches. The reality is the two seasons before this one he had a huge hand in our survival, often helping us to claw last gasp wins and draws like at Arsenal and Watford. He's let the fans down this season, even if it was not intentional, but I just don't buy into this narrative that we overrate him. As I said, we'll only find out if he actually finally gets a move to a big club (a proper big club not a mediocre one like Everton).
