Gallagher and Tufan with Sarr one side Wilf the other, Eze sitting behind Mateta. Am I dreaming too much?

Understandable attitude , but Eagles , idea is appealing if only the club had the where with all to get that kind of line up.
The sad fact is ,it probably is an example of how far we need to stretch to be the sort of side people dream of . And it just doesn’t seem likely.

Both these players played under Cooper at Swansea if there's anything to be read into that.

Fortunately, he's not the finished article. He'll improve. We are so used to buying players who are past their best that we can sometimes forget that if you buy youngsters, you are buying the future and for me, Gallagher has every chance of being the future for whoever buys him.

Quite possibly if Rice leaves. Otherwise, in place of whom? Rice and Soucek aren't going to make way for him. I suspect he may find himself being loaned out again to another PL team, especially if Tuchel wants him retained as a Chelsea player..
