They are pushing a left agenda however, why's that? Because it's easier to pay lip service to something like BLM than actually address the problems that movement raises. Throw a couple of black faces on the Tele? easy. Address the reason why 99% of bankers and judges are white and 99% of night duty security guards in London are black? Doing so would most probably mean they lose their titles, hereditary wealth and positions.
If punk ever happened I'd be preaching the law, instead of listenin to Lydon lecture BBC4 |

As a teacher, I think you need to take responsibility for this? If your former BAME students haven't got the grades, maybe the teaching sucks? Or it could be one of a dozen other factors. The NUT are a pretty powerful union. When will they be held accountable? Edited by Penge Eagle (23 Jun 2020 4.16pm) The leadership are held accountable every round of elections. When will Gove be held accountable for what he's done to education in this country? Safe Tory seat and a biannual department move before he one day becomes PM. How's that for entitlement.

The former education secretary created a racist curriculum that ensured BAME students failed to get into uni? Why can't you take some responsibility instead of blaming others. There are lots of bad schools and bad teachers, protected by the NUT. The bad grades are on you. Grammar schools are a brilliant way to help bright kids from disadvantaged backgrounds to shine. Labour are opposed to this. Edited by Penge Eagle (23 Jun 2020 4.49pm)

So I'm to blame for bad grades, systemic racism and failing schools?

How would you like it if you were moved from your school because there aren't enough BAME teachers? The only way to get TRUE equality is through communism. That has never ended well.

I've just heard from someone on the Internet that Burnley FC are so determined to punish the people responsible for the 'white lives matter” banner' that they have decided to force them to attend all of their remaining Premier league matches.

Same way they will never give it up to any of us schmos either no matter how wealthy, educated or successful we become. Can be added to reason why BLM is nonsense pile.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

If they were all Black women, I think we could fairly argue that there is a worrying homogeneity in those who hold power in this country. As it is, they are all publicly educated white men, except the Russian billionaire, the Princess royal, and a woman called Cressida. Given that I assume that like me you are not from hereditary wealth or Oxbridge educated, doesn't it worry you when the odds are clearly so stacked against us or our kids ever achieving those levels? Anyone can get into Oxford or Cambridge if they are smart enough and work hard enough. Ultimately the more affluent one is, the more likely they are to succeed and most certainly be in a better position to rig the game a bit in their favour. A meritocratic society will always include a degree of hereditary bias. Those that succeed in one generation might pass some of that advantage on to another. You might well do the same.
