The virus probably won’t survive copper however.

Yup I posted that about copper a while back.
Kills MRSA stone dead.

The hysteria is about ride another big wave again. Just after everyone got their bog roll in for no reason they’ll have a reason to use it with government instructions to stay at home for two weeks with a cough or a temperature. I thought the madness was going to stay at the current levels but apparently not. It’s going to ramp up again very soon, sickies going on everywhere, more panicking and selfish behaviour to make me realise even more how much I don’t like some modern people.

How many people will he have infected before he died and how many of them will also have died.

As someone in the age group most at risk and with underlying health issues I have a flu jab every year and as a consequence I don't catch flu.

There is no vaccine for this Corona Virus so people like myself are far more at risk than with flu

Stay safe. Some of my bowling colleagues are being pretty unrealistic about this and are thinking it will just pass them by. I don't. It seems that the experts are expecting a difficult few months.

I am actually impressed by the way the government is handling this, taking the scientific advice seriously, keeping us informed and not treating people as idiots. Shows us at our best. Pulling together in a crisis, apart from those panic buying!

So take care. Caution hurts no-one and you cannot be infected online!

We might have had our differences but I wish you, and everybody here, continuing good health.

There won't be many left on HOL then

Nor in the Main Stand if those at the biggest risk are the elderly.

Nadine Dorries has Coronavirus and is in self isolation. I’d prefer to see Anna Soubhry locked away for a good while.

Health minister Nadine Dorries has been in contact with other MP’s in the last week and all of Parliament sits tomorrow.

Buy more bog roll tomorrow and Thursday. Everyday.

A lot of money being made available for the self employed etc that need to self isolate.

Ends a few myths if it is true that the government are looking after everyone equally!

It is noticeable by reading the threads how old a large number of HOL regular members are with many of us in their sixties and seventies. If I remember correctly there are also quite a few of us who have medical issues so the likelihood of several of us contracting this virus is quite high.

Let's hope that we all manage to get through it unscathed

I don't get the criticism of the government at the moment. I like Nigel Farage but he is leading the charge and plenty of the public agree with him.

However none of the critics I have heard are medical people and the government's actions or in actions are being led by the health experts. So far I have yet to hear a dissenting voice from a senior medical / health person so I take it that they are broadly in agreement with what the government has done so far.

Now I admit I find it strange that we haven't stopped flights from Italy but what is the point of experts if you don't listen to them.

Once this is all over there will be a postmortem and it maybe mistakes have been made but I think it a bit harsh to blame Boris when he is taking the advice he has been given.

I am due to fly to Asia in a week's time where the infection rate is slowing ironically my biggest concern is that I will not be allowed in if the rate in the UK jumps before then.

Be safe and stay calm for most of us this is nothing more than a bad cold.

I was watching Sky news preview at 10.30pm Monday night I think and Stig Abel, a Times editor, reckons everyone will know someone who dies from this. I hope not and he’s usually quite level headed.
