Labour did not leave any mess, they left a sane and balanced society. Now look at it. You are clearly not.

Labour started mass immigration and "multiculturalism" which is now destablalising the entire country. Labour paid for this by putting us into huge amounts of national debt. Labour helped start a war in the middle east that spread islamic extremism across the globe. Of course you could just replace Labour with Blair but he was aided and abbetted by numerous other Fabians. It's no accident that they use the symbol of a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Chuck in severely taking their eye off the ball which lead to the biggest finance crisis this country had seen in a generation and will be a burden for generations to come to pay for. Blair and Brown really couldn't have done much worse.

Farage is hinting that he will focus on Labour seats. I think that natural Tory voters like myself voted for The Brexit party to force the Tories to honour their promises. I don't like Johnson's deal but I suspect that it is enough to lure those Brexit party voters back to the Tories. Hopefully Farage will realise this and focus on the Northern Labour seats. The Brexit party organisation cannot be as good as the other parties as it is so new, better to concentrate on winnable seats rather than spread yourself to thin.

Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Farage is offering an electoral alliance with the Conservatives but it is highly unlikely that Johnson will agree to one. Without such an alliance, I fear that the chances of a 'Hung Parliament' are greatly increased.I was always of the opinion that going in a GE without Brexit being delivered was a real danger for the Conservatives because it brought the Brexit party into play.

An alliance seems like a no brainer to me. I don't imagine that Farage would demand that many seats.

You only have to look at the choices on offer: All the other low grade parties like The Greens who have ONE MP Caroline Lucas who does not know what she really wants and to be honest is lucky to be in her job.

Yes indeed, but Farage has been critical of the Brexit deal agreed between Johnson and the EU and Johnson has nailed his colours to the mast on this matter. Some might conclude that any alliance will greatly enhance the chances of a comfortable Conservative majority and for this reason perhaps many supporters and activists who think this way might favour such a pact.I will find out of course! I see Farage wants a pact but, cleverly, tells Johnson to scrap his deal, because, he would lose credibility if he said anything else. Don't get me wrong, The Eurozone, financially is a mess, but I'm not seeing any other option being better. We are in polarising times and it's either capitalism or communism, apparently, which is exactly how the media and politicians like it. My advice is save your money, because times are gonna get harder.

No matter what route you choose, we're going to end up in the same place anyway. Certainly a possibility, and always good to think about things in a slightly more rounded way, beyond the usual 'Brexeet becas I voted fur it and that' / 'No Brexeet becas I didn't vote fur it and that' Edited by SW19 CPFC (01 Nov 2019 1.38pm)
