She has no agreement with PA and became riled when he totally disrespected her experience and refuted what is likely to prove to be largely true. He said he didn't do it.

He said he didn't do it. I look forward to finding out who has the more accurate memories via a Court case then.

It's as if those in this horrendous case can't be further used to push a specific demographic dislike and so are viewed in a more off hand or nonplussed light. That is not to say by the way that there aren't specific issues in said cultures. All should be pursued without fear or favour, but like these crimes in many or most contexts they often are not. Whatever people think of this girl (opportunist or whatever) the wider context is that Epstein and Maxwell were luring in young children to be coerced into sex with adult men and she was caught up in that. When we diminish her, it's important to realise that to an extent we do the same with those victims too. Whether it's culturally or religiously based, high society exploitation, or childrens homes, the overriding factor in all of these instances is that it almost always goes on for an unbelievable amount of time before anyone is held to account. Sometimes that's due to powerful institutions hushing it up, or wildly misplaced cultural sensitivities, others a culture of silence. Certainly also a level of mental disconnect too with decent people just not wanting to accept that it takes place so mentally reframing it as something else or attributing a level of blame to the victims.
Edited by BlueJay (13 Jan 2022 1.55am) what are your thoughts on the messages she sent to her friend re visiting Andrew in london where she was legal. ?

Edited by BlueJay (13 Jan 2022 1.55am) Well said - I don't know how twisted someone has to be to decide she is the villain in all of this - you have to be seriously lacking some brain power.

I don't like Andrew, and he is guilty of hanging out with some dodgy company, but was the girl he allegedly slept with not 17? Other than being a dickhead, can someone tell me what crime has he actually committed?

Andrew should have cut Her Majesty adrift years ago. So should we.

Just read Wikipedia of Virginia Guifre and no matter what you think of her, she copped a lot of s*** in her early life and you can understand the bitterness and rage.

Other than being a dickhead, can someone tell me what crime has he actually committed? I too Hrolf, find it hard to understand what he did that was illegal. He was weak and stupid to be lured into Epstein's crazy world. But, my understanding is that it's simply down to the US minimum age laws, accepting that different States vary. Like you can buy a gun when you're 18 and drive a car at 16, but it's illegal to have sex if you're under 18. This woman who's accusing Andrew certainly had a difficult early life, but like others involved with Epstein she was participating in his wierd world for a long time before cutting adrift. I mean, she wasn't a child and she must have known what she was doing. You'd think she could have said 'no, this is not for me' and cleared off sooner if she didn't want to get involved.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |
