I just became a Premier League fan last year. I’m from the United States, so most people from my part of the world support teams in the top 6. However, I chose Palace because of the fans and the craziest moments that happen with them. This game showed that perfectly. You could hear on the TV palace fans cheering super loud at the end of the game. Today, they were able to defeat a Manchester U team at home something that hasn’t happened in over 20 years. The game was constantly tense, and they played tough throughout. Hopefully, we are able to take this momentum and use it to win some more games.

I'm glad all over!!!! Go Eagles!!!!

Welcome aboard the crazy train Miles.

Anyone ready to jump down my throat. Roy has said on radio 5, ‘Colchester and Villa will be completely different and they’ll be looking to do some of what we’ve done to Man Utd and it will require a different skill set to today.’

He won’t be getting on the p1ss and convincing himself we’re sorted because I doubt they’ve been able to thoroughly address the Sheff Utd debacle yet with this completely different Man Utd game to prepare for.

Maybe Roy is a miserable cvnt as well and not really Palace. actually he is a bit of the former.

The arrogant PL (I can't bear to type out the full name, its everywhere) were obsessed via their PR machine to bang the drum that CPFC had never beaten Man Utd.

Don't they remember that Darren Ambrose beauty in the League Cup?

Anyway, up yours PL and all Man Utd people.

Choke on it!

why do you have tobe like that we won we battled,we are not Man city,so stop making it sound like we are going to lose the next 30 games

Shut up. I am delighted with the result. When we have more than 20% possession and know what to do I’ll be confident forvour season. If you knew about football you’d agree.

I watched the whole game, we played to our strengths and frustrated Utd. I understand you listened on the radio, but have more insight as to our performance. If you knew anything about football, you would realise you win by scoring more goals than the opposition. Playing fancy passes in front of our defence might look nice on percentage possession, but you lose.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Er, that’s a bit of an extreme. What made you think
I said that? Villa and 50% possession will be a completely different prospect and normal business. Today was a very nice bonus. There are things to address. I hope they do. This result certainly takes the league position and points pressure off, which is the biggest victory today, along with the desire that wasn’t there vs Sheff Utd.

Roy has said virtually everything I have. Digest that. A different skill set required vs villa.

Wilf will be a happy lad, not so sure about AWB.
Brilliant win against all odds, what price for England winning the Test.
