It's easy to say after the event but we would expect to beat Fulham.
I thought we looked a little flat without Wilf but we defended well albeit against a poor attack.

The Bats man created the second goal with a lovely bit of skill which is pleasing going forward. Benteke? Needs game time and a reminder of how to win a challenge in the air.

Id quiet happily do without Zaha for a couple more games so we can get a look at other players. I don't think he will be missed as he is turning into a distraction and his use of the ball is as bad as PVA's

You can see The Batsman is a player who has confidence in his own ability. The way he called for the ball to be played at his feet despite being surrounded by Fulham players.
A good end to the season once again I feel.

Loads of positives to take out of today.

- Currently 7 points clear of relegation
- Great performance from Benteke
- Immediate impact felt by Meyer and Batshuayi off the bench. Oh how I wish Meyer would play every game.
- Defence rock solid again. Double tackle from Sakho at the end summed them up, most underrated defence in the division.
- Guaita looked solid whenever he did have to do anything. Feel as though his presence gives the back 4 confidence.

To be clear... my suggestion wasn’t intended to be ‘anti Wilf’ but conjecture about how we might look should he (sadly in my view) leave us. Whether he’s our greatest ever is irrelevant.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I dont think Schlupp had a shot off target all game...he may not be everyone's cup of tea but with a side that only scored 6 at home all season, im starting to see why Roy picks him at every opportunity...

Fantastic work from Batshuayi for the goal and good poaching instincts from Schlupp. Benteke looking better since his return, great effort and technique when he hit the bar, so unlucky. I thought Ayew also looking a bit better today too.

Defensively solid and strong and we really restricted Fulham’s chances despite their greater share of the possession. The boys really do seem more assured and composed with Guaita between the posts.

Thought PVA gave it away too often and too cheaply and Sakho should’ve scored from yet another clear header. That’s 3 now this season with the other two against Newcastle home and Saints away costing us two wins and 4 points! Thankfully not the main factor in the result today.

Ultimately not a great game to watch but it’s points that matter at the moment so well done Palace, a well ground out win and with several positives to take heart from too.

That is clear.

It was the rather disrespectful “who?” from painter which took the discussion into a different direction.

No need for disrespect towards Wilf Zaha, a palace legend.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

Cardiff 1 up. Could be an even bigger win today.

Sadly his game is really off. Don't know whether it an an attitude thing, lack of protection from refs, or just mismanagement of his vast talent. Would love to see him come back to his best.
