Huddersfield favourite for relegation at 1/20. Fulham around 1/3, Cardiff around 4/9 - i.e all odds on. We are an impressive seventh favourite with odds starting at 16/1. Wish I felt so optimistic!

How on earth can Salah be credited with the goal from Speroni's mistake. The ball was a good foot over the line before he made contact. Total crap yet again from the BBC sports department

Total crap yet again from the BBC sports department No, the ball was only half way over the line. It would have gone in without him but what striker do you know who would give up a notch on his goal tally?

How can anyone blame Speroni. He hasnt played for a year and he is 37 years old. Unlucky to lose two choice GKs in one match but the club should covered this position. Very unlucky also with two deflected goals

Yes but that’s from overdoing the booze, fags and women, CF. These modern footballers don’t lead such lifestyles

Not for want of being seen to be stating the obvious ... we need to win 5 games and six pointers will be crucial to our survival. Southampton is a MUST WIN.

Its a funny old game. We score a great goal and keep them at bay first half. They get incredibly lucky when a well wide shot cannons of the back of Jimmy Mac, Jules is a bit indecisive, and Salah is right on the end of it. Much like the Cleverly goal, its a freak goal, and is very unlucky. We then give Firmino too much space, but again get unlucky as his shot gets a major deflection and goes in, for me that is an OG. We MUST up our intensity in the first 10 of each half as its becoming an issue - that is on the manager. We then fight back and actually score off a corner, unbelievable! Salah then benefits from an absolute howler from Jules, he is 39 and hasnt played for years - what do we expect? Their 4th is a good goal, then Wikcham and Meyer combine for a really nice goal. This time around it is Wickham and not Benteke coming on, I wonder why? Anyway, we scored 3 goals at Anfield, and still lost. 3 of their 4 goals were jammy or through errors (maybe the first, certainly the third). Once again we see Jeff Schlupp come in but this was a poor, poor outing from the Ghanaian. On another day we are more lucky (like at Man City) and we at lest take a point, if not win. We can only hope that the poor showing from Schlupp, coupled with a Wickham assisted Meyer goal, will light a fire in Hodgson's head that we need to be more positive than playing 3 holding midfielders, even away at Liverpool. Dont forget though, 3 of their goals were jammy AF.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Or as I described it to my Leicester-supporting friend earlier; we go for heroic failure against the big teams and abject failure against the dross (yes I was ignoring MCFC away). This was after speculating about which of us should be more disappointed with scoring 3 goals away from home but losing, and what odds we would have got combining the two 4-3 scores in a correct score ‘double’.
