With our need to sign a striker/winger he does actually fit the bill. As I recall Everton wanted to sell him in the summer but no clubs were willing to take the risk on his fitness. (Boro and Villa both only wanted to sign him on loan). I doubt Yannick will have exercised his option to return to Everton unless either he has really hated it at Villa (Not heard anything along those lines) or there is something more appealing in the offering. Seemed to be an impact sub at Villa. We could do with that. I know his delivery was hit and miss, but I think he'd be brilliant for Benteke when he got his whipped crosses right. That could make Benteke seem a far more valuable player, which would be a huge help. Which reminds me...how long until Benteke's contract us up?
