To Harry Tuttle: This stinks. If this is what professional football has become I wish I had never grown up loving the game.

What Phil Neville has said is "I'm a cheat and I don't see anything wrong with everyone doing it" That's says much more about Phil Neville than it does about football in general. The only way to cut it out is not only to ban the cheater but to strip the club of any points that they earned in the game.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

If people who admit they are willing to cheat are outraged by the ban then it probably shows its got them rattled and retrospective punishment is working.

So every time a defender moves into a player to shepherd ball out for a goal kick that is a penalty? FFS get a grip, if that had been given at the other end you would have a different view (and I dont need an expert to tell me that) 26 fouls..2 bookings 1 for dissent, wasn't your lot that were harshly treated mate.

As far as I am concerned Harry Tuttle is spouting a load of old hogwash. Clearly just one Everton supporter deeply concerned about their plight. One gets more contact at corners than Dann made with Niasse and the theatrical plunge to the ground was Not consistent with the merest of brushes. It was a blatant act of simulation and I for one am delighted at the fact that the panel came to such a conclusion and with the resultant punishment.

I don't remember us giving David Tuttle a hard time when he was with us so I don't know why his son is on here complaining he's wet his pants? Everton were the worst team I've seen at our place this season and by far the dirtiest. I'm sure they have players to turn it around with the right manager, but I almost hope they don't after that shameful display.

i dont need the opinion of `experts` when i can see it with my own eyes. Dann fouled Niasse by moving into him without attempting to play the ball, (watch it and tell me if i`m wrong) Niasse` crime was to go down easy after the contact. it was a legitimate pen either way. oh, if you`re` moaning about us, just wait til you play a proper physical team The funniest part about all this is that you and the panel and everyone here all agree on what happened: Dann made contact with Niasse and Niasse dropped to the ground like a sack of spuds. It's the dropping like a sack of spuds part that's the deception, because he arched his back and retracted both his legs from incidental contact at his shoulder. This is clearly shown from the video footage and this is exactly as it's described by the panel. This deception - which you admit when you say he "went down easy" - got the referee to award the penalty. That's simulation and thus Niasse is banged-to-rights guilty. This is why Everton decided not to contest the decision other than to bleat to the press about it being wrong. You got a point you didn't deserve. Be grateful for it and move on.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

"I heard the contact and had to go down". Convicted out of his own mouth.

Supposedly pushed by a shoulder whilst running forwards, then fell backwards. He clearly didn't get his GCSE in Physics.

Agreed, that is a real problem with the rule, it may deter players from diving but at the end of the day it does not stop teams or players benefiting from cheating
