Sadly Zaha had an awful game today which probably cost us a well earnt point. Having said that, without him we'd have no outlet. Also, there's no point in ever bringing Sako on. All he does is stand offside and offer nothing. Really disappointed by the result today. We need to start getting what we deserve from matches or we get relegated. Just a blip I’m sure and I think as opposed to him being awful I think it was more his decision making that let him down! Having said that Townsend has the open goal we score!

It's all well and good taking positives from losing games but they are still losing games and we're running out of time.

as the commentator said on our side of the pond "Palace are not the worst team in the league by a long way". Frustrating not to get something from the game, totally deserved it, but these performance we are putting out make me feel that with Benteke back and a purchase or 2 in January, we will be fine.

We have two important home games coming up - they are must win!

We have put in performances both at Newcastle and Tottenham which have waranted something but we haven't scored in either and lost both. Never expected to get anything from Tottenham but what will define our season are results against the teams around us in the table.Looks bleak of course but we perhaps live in hope more than expectancy.

Yet another travesty of a result - we could easily have had five points from the last three games. I agree that we don't look like one of the worst three teams in the league, but the points target is looking more and more daunting - we now have 27 matches to get 36 points, taking us to 40. Although the other relegation contenders are losing matches, there's no one obviously rubbish team that look sure to go down. Worrying.

Losing 1-0 four times now. Missing sitters, hitting the posts, injuries all point towards a side going down. We would not have been in this mess if we had Roy from the start. Losses against Huddersfied, Swansea, Newcastle, as well as the draw against West Ham has cost us dearly

With the decent batch of games coming up I’ve got a feeling we’ll be out of the drop zone. Confidence within the team is clearly there, it’s not as if we’re not creating chances, defensively getting better. I’m convinced by mid December we’ll have bagged up on points. Is probably the correct answer. We played well today. Up-and-at them, then 10 men behind the ball. What did you expect with Zaha on his own up front, playing against a team that had just beaten Real Madrid.? And to lose by only 1 goal is amazing. Our defence was effective, but we lacked firepower up front. Palace played well, and but for the Zaha miss, could have got something.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

Yeah, understandable, but I'm just a bit sick of having to take positives from losing games where we have had the chances to score and haven't taken them. If we'd taken all our clear cut chances (and I'm not including amazing saves from the oppo keeper) we wouldn't be in this position now.

Have to apologise to you Willo for being so down on you for your pessimism last season, I think I know how you felt now, haha.
