I have little doubt he does receive a salary, I just thought I heard him say he doesn't, I thought it strange when he said it. As I say I might have misheard

In fact, didn't SP give up his duties for TAG, in order to spend more time running the club ?

Anyone can do a decent job when the sun is shining and things are going swimmingly.

The measure of any man (or woman)is how they respond in difficult circumstances. Football is not an exact science.

I'll give the guy some slack, and I'm pleased we have him as Chairman.

He sold TAG to Deutsche Post DHL Group in 2012. Whilst all four of the original owners were equal partners none of them were receiving a remuneration. Once the US investors came on board, and three of the original four took a back seat, a remuneration has been paid to a single director, which is fair enough as there's only one responsible for the day-to-day running of the club.

No, I knew what you were saying and I also thought he said something about not making anything out of the club, but I'm not sure to what he was referring.

Anyone familiar with the Peter Principal of management theory?

Below are just a couple of quotes from it. I'll let others make up their own minds as to whether they think it has any relevance to our current situation.

"Managers rise to the level of their incompetence."

"Anything that works will be used in progressively more challenging applications until it fails. This is the "generalized Peter Principle". Peter noted that there is a strong temptation for people to use what has worked before, even when this might not be appropriate for the current situation."

Why should he have the luxury of sitting at home when he is the chairman of the company earning a salary of £650,000 a year.

This man that you claim "gives everything to this club" actually earns an annual salary probably larger than most people earn in ten years and it's his job to foresee problems and sort them out.

Earning a lot less than Jordan Mutch, who does nothing for the club at all!
You need to get real mate, he is not taking anywhere near as much as Noades was out of the club 25 years ago.

More relevant I think is Murphy's Law.

"Anything that can go wrong will."

That's the first year he's actually been paid since taking over (according to previous accounts) and, as it's gross pay, it's less than Sako will take home two months.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

2010 DOESN'T MATTER NOW. I find his decisions to be highly questionable. Because guess what it's just as much my Club as it is Steve Parish's or yours. How dare you question anyone else's loyalty to this Club.

Guess what IT WAS WORKING UNDER Frank de Boer. Unlucky at Anfield and Turf Moor. Benteke hits the sitter and we draw at Anfield. 23 shots on goal at Turf Moor 23 Shots on Goal Benteke, Dann, or ANYONE hits a goal or 2 we have at least 4 points.

Now back to Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) Why didn't he back Frank de Boer??? That's the reason we're in the situation we are in. So you can believe the BULLS*** Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) spews. I will continue to question Parish's nonsense.

Emotionally yes, financially ...NO. As such anyone willing to put their own money into running it, has a far greater say (rightly so) as to what goes on. Not those that sit at their keyboards, stuffing their faces in their underwear....demanding answers!

Awful interview. SP throwing a strop about so called 16 year old keyboard warriors having the audacity to criticise him after all he's done for the club, and overawed interviewers agreeing with everything he said, without once questioning one of his responses. Might as well have just put a statement on the website.

It IS what he said though...perhaps he puts it straight back in, or what he meant was he puts more in than he takes out every year (?)

Rubbish, Hambo came back with extra questions to responses on a number of occasions...you clearly didn't listen to it.
