If FDB thought Lee was the answer, then I've no idea what the question was. Offers sod all.

We are still in it, but who scores the next goal is vital for us.

You're blaming Hennessey for that one?

Nope. Lee mainly at fault but watch WH.. Comes then hesitates just like he did for Swansea second goal... Made Woods job very easy for him.

Yep - give him one more chance against an out of form Southampton unless we fold second half. This could be the upward curve beginning this first half

We look like the better side, if we can nick a goal and RLC and Wilf fit for Southampton this team will suddenly look real good.

Is this opinion based on today’s performance so far? If so, you have issues.

It IS poor!!! Do we practice taking corners? Why do we back pass so much? Are we going to use the left wing? Burnley don't look that great but we aren't giving them anything to worry about. Hope for improvement second half ... but don't hold your breath.

So what if he chose him to play...its THE PLAYERS mistake to make that pass...why is that so hard to understand? Who else is there to play left wing? PVA perhaps? Lokilo? Kai kai? NONE of these has shown anything so far this season on the wing...there were so many on here calling for Lee to he given a chance...and now he's shown his level..so another one to cross off the list.

Also..re Kelly...you saw the game against swansea i take it?

McArthur, Cabaye, Punch
Townsend, Benteke, Lee

Subs: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Milivojevic, Kelly, Lumeka, Kaikai, Riedewald.

Ok so who do we bring on? I'm struggling to think who we bring on for Punch and or Lee...?

Luka for Punch push McArthur up

Kaikai or lumeka can play on wing or PVA for LB and push Jeffrey to wing

Or my neighbors cat for Lee, he look lively this morning

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Get puncheon off . He is a waste of space. He gives us nothing going forward or defending .

Apart from the 3rd minute. We've been a lot better. Take off lee for pva, push schlup forward and Luka for puncheon.

This.

Assuming the bench is the best of the rest. He didn't have much of a choice to start with.

Whom would you suggest he brings on for Lee?

Only option I see is PVA coming in at the back and Schlupp moving up field to replace Lee.

Lee's fault but given the ball he should have backtracked that's all.

He was coming out to get the "pass". He couldn't anticipate that. Not to blame at all.

Agree with the above, we're looking more settled and probably slightly on top. Just need a bit of penetration, presumably can get that with a change partway into the second half, maybe one of the youngsters or else as people say PVA / Schlupp combo on the left.
