FdB has no chance. The nuclear war will mean we'll never know how season 2017/18 ever turns out.

I dunno, someone earlier said we won the last 4 out of 6.

Holloway managed us for about 40 games that season and freedman about 7 so try not to rewrite history. He lost his and his fans' claims of promotion the day he left and further tarnished himself by unnecessarily grassing us up, although he was so used to it with Jordan he couldn't help himself. Keep him in the background judging potential talent, what he's used to and away from the dugout.

40 + 7 = 47 and yes I do understand what "about" means but as Doog garnered almost enough points for promotion before Ollie almost messed it up I don't believe your games figures.
Ps SP could have offered Doog a payrise to go with the promotion to manager but possibly blew the budget paying Burley off.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

Even if Jason Puncheon is vaporised in a nuclear explosion, he'll somehow still start for us every week

Not absolutely clear but 90 games over two seasons does suggest more than 7 in the latter season and 46 for Ollies maybe fewer than 40 in that season although maybe the three play-off matches should be included.

We can all hypothesise but maybe Parish thought freedman needed to prove the 7 games wouldn't just die out or the car park talk effect wouldn't die out and back to daisy chain football on our 18 yard box.

If freedman was that confident he could've argued for a few months of proof, a pay rise and this inevitable promotion you and other Dougie fans are so sure of.

I don't care what promises Gartside promised him at Bolton. He left and could've stayed. It's a long career and someone at his age should already know this. He's not a teenager. He also had a money making business. All this and his immaturity and naivety with the fact of relegation impacting a small club at Bolton, even after a decade in the prem, and the £110 mil debt to their benefactor owner just shows he's not as clever as he thinks, and certainly not in the ponds parish has swum in.

Keep him identifying players and back room stuff.

Posting two 'rumours'. This one says he is being backed

Please lets not have football managers and Dougie Freedman in the same sentence
This is the Premier League , not The Croydon Sunday

If there is a managerial change, it wont obviously be in the transfer window but could be in the international break.

Apologies just saw this - said he was "told" deal was "agreed" as mentioned in my initial post.

About 10 minutes later Sky confirmed the bid was rejected.
