Expect support from Scottish tories to become somewhat conditional over the coming months too, as the penny drops that billions will be thrown in this direction and that just to hold together such flimsy arrangements.

No the UK can no longer be an impartial mediator as required by the Good Friday agreement.

He's basically what is known as good example of 'posh tw*t, someone likable, but so divorced from the lives of people that they endlessly create the problems for themselves'.

Exactly in the current climate he'd be a terrible choice for the party. Anyone capable of serious thought can see that.

At least Teri May will be famous for discovering "the Money Tree."

Her on personal DUP related Money Tree worth similar to an extra 1% to all public sector employees.

Pales into significance with the fantasy economics as part of Corbyn's "Costed" outlandish promises in that 'Chairman Mao' red book he carried around and kept referring to.

And what would they have asked for, more get out of jail cards.

For the simple reason thst Sinn Fein (not the IRA) don't take their seats in parliament your assertion is incorrect.

As others here keep pointing out the labour manifesto was fully costed perhaps it is difficult to imagine the wealthy and corporations making any contribution to society.

For what it is worth for a radical change in society the manifesto does not go far enough IMO it may be a long way back.

The wealthy and corporations have already contributed, in taxes and the generation of wealth and jobs and will continue to do so under a Conservative government.

In the eyes of "Lefties", "Profit" and "Wealth" are dirty words.

Doesn't mean it's not an accurate account of Corbyn and the IRA.
Books on 'History' are NOT dismissed as "Old stories".

In any event, I think we are veering off the subject matter !

The story has been debunked several times on here.

The DUP have their roots in paramilitary terrorist organisations as do Sinn Fein. To keep separating the two to justify Tory bribery shows appalling hypocrisy.

Phew, thank god there are no connections then between May's new friends the DUP and terrorists. Its worth remembering that whilst Corbyn, an back bencher, was cosy with the Provisional IRA and Sinn Fein, Thatcher was courting Pinochet, who overthrew a democratically elected government, and was responsible for the murder of upwards of 80,000 people and tried to protect him from actual justice.
