I knew at half time we'd win. I caught one of the T-Shirts the Crystals threw in to the crowd and that never happens so it was obvious that it was going to be a special night. Super Geoff Thomas on the front too. Top night all round really Edited by Northbrook (11 Apr 2017 7.19am)

The morning after and it's still kinda hard to believe. Yesterday's performance was 'top 4 class' from every player in the famous red and blue. What's happened to Hennessy? He pulled off some great catches and a fine save too. Back 4 were brilliant, midfield stunning, Wilf and Andros just ran their hearts out, Big Ben up front won everything in the air (even when he was defending).

Oh yes, and one final final point. Without our brilliant chairperson and board we would never have had the opportunity of seeing this. Many many thanks for making an old woman very happy.

Only Chelsie, Spuds and Man. City have more points from their last 10 games. Top 4 form from Sam and the lads.

I had real reservations about Kelly. However, he played really well. Really well. Confident, comfortable and was a menace in their box.

Never a pen clear dive but we deserve this game anyway and the bad ref we have had this season about time we got something Watch the replays - nicks the ball away from the keeper and gets caught. Definite pen.

An incredible night - an amazing and well deserved result and an atmosphere that I haven't experienced since Liverpool 3-3! Was worried about Townsend lasting as he ran his socks off in the first half - though his levels would dip towards the end - but he, and the rest of the team, were fantastic.

The important thing is to keep our heads and get results against the lesser teams we still have to play.
