I agree. My wife has an interesting theory (call it female intuition). We have watched the first episode she found the following strange: I haven't watched this show, one question I am not clear on is when was the last time Maddie we seen other than by the McCanns? I have read some reports and the timeline comes from then but how do we know that Maddie was alive, as your wife suggest something may have happened a lot earlier before they went to dinner?

But surely it was the surly, scruffy foreign type? He looked shifty to me.

One part of the Portuguese theory that never made sense was that the Tapas 7 are supposed to have helped cover up the crime. They were holiday friends so the McCanns only saw them occasionally why would any of them owe the McCanns anything and risk jail time. Quite frankly if any of my family came to me to help cover up a death I would call the police immediately. Lying who was driving when your caught speeding is one thing. Covering up the death of a child for someone you barely know! I don't believe it. I don't think those people have a clue what happened if they did they would have spoken out by now.

One of their party managed to block book the tapas restaurant for 7 nights for dinner for 8.30 pm One of the party identified a strange man carrying a child No one was surprised or thought to question why Mrs McCann was worried about her twins breathing/sleep after one was snatched. They may have got away with accidentally killing their daughter and disposing of her body.....They maybe totally innocent but in this case the jury will always be out.

The timeline of events for Maddie is probably massively distorted, if we only have K&G's word about 'checking on the children'. When was the last time she was seen, other than by K&G ? The fridge in the apartment that was disposed of,..would that have traces of sedatives in it, where medication was stored ? G always seems to look aggressive to me I've always wondered , if G got taken out of the equation, would K be free to tell of the real events ?

The Sun , reporting on the latest instalment of Netflix today. Theories are discussed as to: *Whether Maddie wandered onto some wasteground, looking for her parents, and climbed into one of the many storm drains in the area. WTF ? * whether her body got buried in a workmans trench that was being backfilled in the locale. ? I think most of us have an inkling by now of what is likely to have happened. Either by fluke or design, it just so happens that there is very little evidence of anything, let alone a body. Why would parents leave their kids alone, night after night, in an unlocked apartment ? I would love to see how Columbo, Jessica Fletcher or even Poirot would solve this. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (21 Mar 2019 8.30am)
