Best performance of the season for me, easily better than Stoke.

Details cost us. I see others don't blame Pardew for details. I do.

But actually I left the game today more heartened than I was before it. FWIW I'm in the out camp.

I thought we played well today and were unlucky not to get at least a point. I can't remember them creating a chance other than their goals, which were both gifted to them. We'll beat most teams playing like that. Special mention for Cabaye who was class

I though City were poor and their cheating was unbelievable. I'd like to think if we ever spent hundreds of millions and were able to take our pick of the worlds managers we'd muster a bit more than diving and time wasting. Scum, I hope someone else wins the league.

Pardews next trick is to possibly lose six.
Swansea are showing some fight and form at last.Seriously, if we fail to win away next week,we are in big trouble without the huge points cushion we had at the start of the second half of last season, when our calamitous run began.

I thought we played very well at times.

We looked sharp from the off and I think the plan was to keep it tight which we largely did until Townsend dropped Kelly in it. I also don't think Townsend helps Kelly out enough and he is left stranded far too often

There was a lot to be positive about and I think any objective observer would say a point would have been fair.

Thought the ref was poor (not that it effected the result)

Th clock is ticking for Pardew, Swanse Hull and Watford are all big games.

the dignified don't even enter in the game

Can't blame the manager for players mistakes. However I can criticise him for not having the right environment for the team at Beckenham.
This team lacks focus and discipline, two of the biggest factors that got us to where we are today. Pardew is known as a players coach. One of the lads, a good laugh. No problem with that if Tony Pulis is your no.2, but it is when the no.2 is also a players friend. There's no jeopardy if you make a mistake. Players need to be kept on their toes and disciplined when they ain't.
It's like the classroom of the cool young teacher who wants to be everyone's friend. The first thing to go is the discipline, then the dress code. Soon the players will start wearing whatever kit they want, Hennessey's already started.

...this team lacks focus and discipline from one or two individuals ..only.

..and it did effect the result as he thought wrongly that Cabaye had fouled to award them the freekick which ultimately led to that corner and winning goal.

..not OK with only two games remaining, but there is still six weeks to go until January, I enjoyed today's performance not the end result, the team is consistently performing strongly or attempting to, ask any man.city player or fan, we have small issues with a small amount of players, one of them has been brilliant but not so since return from injury and so we all know he will turn things around which will improve the whole defending as a unit and we have one that is very prone to hash decisions at crucial moments and we have another that is just very inconsistent, do not underestimate the pressure these silly players are putting on the rest of the team.... it just shows me how strong and positive the rest are to be able to pull things together during every game with this unfortunate run of results behind them, if the manager was the cause of this they would by now all have stopped trying and we would easily see it on the pitch, but I can't see any of this, all I see is a team attacking at will and scaring the s*** out of everyone and big huge silly individual mistakes from players who on another day would have done something completely different .....we have two players I would remove permanently in January because they cannot stop being silly and one who is just playing at being silly because he feels sorry for the other two.

OK, I give in. Who are these silly players you're talking about?
