Today's first goal was down to him for not watching his player..if we defended today and attempted to give liverpool a game from the kickoff I could not give a toss about the result because obviously liverpool have rich assets, but today we gave a very bad account of our abilities.

The tragedy is that now we're established in the prem expectations have got silly. The utter garbage on here is nauseating. We lost to a team fighting for the title. It happens. Yes, our record is poor since January but hate to break this to you pardew haters, seasons start in August. And who out there would do a better job? I'd take 12th tomorrow quite frankly. Get a grip.

Mixed emotions after that game. We gave them a real game for the p mins. They have a lot of quality but then so do we. Benteke had a golden chance and didn't take it. Those are the moments that swing games.
