Well done Palace for showing real ambition weather we get Berihino or not. the financial clout from the Americans could tip this our way. the interest in Sakho might just be a smoke screen, who knows.

I can smell an under the table deal here. We back off of Salhouse and clear the way for West Bromwich to get him. They in turn make us a preferred vendor for Berating. The player seems to prefer Stoke which is why I think we've tried to shut them down with a higher offer. Or at least more money up front.

The worry in this is he's a different type of player to the one we wanted last week. Do we just want a big name, or are we looking for a type of player to fit a system. If we sign him then I really hope we also sign Ulloa, becuase for me we need a strong guy leading the line. I'd take Berahino plus Ulloa over just Benteke but if it's a case of picking just one. I'd probably go for Ulloa And if Berahino price means we can't afford someone else. Well. I'd take Ulloa and Sakho, over just Berahino. Edited by Goldfiinger (22 Jul 2016 9.27pm)
