No 5 is an important point. Nobody pi**es players of quite like the brolly wally, except I suppose Jose. If he went to the toon it would mean he were bonkers.

Why would any player like Remy rather go to Newcastle than us??? For a start:
but we do have a Sainsbury's near the ground, which is very convenient

I would have thought that Ramires going to China for £25 million will snow ball into Chelsea signing a striker and Remy becoming available, now it's up to us to convince him to come here.

I'm keeping my collective fingers crossed if we sign Remy. With a little luck, he might very well fire the goals to keep us in the top 10.
"Look at that. Accident blackspot? These aren't accidents! They're throwing themselves into the road gladly! Throwing themselves into the road to escape all this hideousness!" |

Remy would be an excellent addition..........let's hope. Adebayor could man the bar, but Remy and Adebayor (even for 6 months could be interesting)!

Time for an update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato now. Sources at Corinthians have told us a deal, which we understand was agreed when Jose Mourinho was in charge, is in place to take Pato to Stamford Bridge. However, we also understand interim manager Guus Hiddink has reservations about the move. Corinthians hope Pato's future will be resolved in the next two days amid interest from a club in Portugal, although it is thought Pato prefers a move to England.
