No 5 is an important point. Nobody pi**es players of quite like the brolly wally, except I suppose Jose.

If he went to the toon it would mean he were bonkers.

Why would any player like Remy rather go to Newcastle than us??? For a start:
1. he lives in London already
2. its f***ing freezing in Newcastle
3. the fans are a nightmare with their ridiculous over expectations
4. their a hot tip for relegation surely
5. McClaren is a crap manager, and proved in many times
6. we are a lovely club who always back our new players all the way
need i go on?

Money

Bigger fan base
better stadium
better training facilities
big house outside of Newcastle, which would be half the price of one in the south
enjoyed his time there
knows the place
scored goals for them
may feel Mcclaren's style is more continenntal
Ant & Dec
Jimmy Nail
MONEY and pots more than we will probably offer!

but we do have a Sainsbury's near the ground, which is very convenient

but of course i desperately want him to sign

I would have thought that Ramires going to China for £25 million will snow ball into Chelsea signing a striker and Remy becoming available, now it's up to us to convince him to come here.

I'm keeping my collective fingers crossed if we sign Remy. With a little luck, he might very well fire the goals to keep us in the top 10.

Ive got that funny feeling when it goes all quiet at Palace and then SP pulls a big deal out of his hat. This is going to happen and we will get Adeboye in to work in the bar on Saturdays.

Remy would be an excellent addition..........let's hope. Adebayor could man the bar, but Remy and Adebayor (even for 6 months could be interesting)!

HIDDINK ‘HAS PATO RESERVATIONS’

Time for an update on Chelsea’s pursuit of Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato now.

Sources at Corinthians have told us a deal, which we understand was agreed when Jose Mourinho was in charge, is in place to take Pato to Stamford Bridge.

However, we also understand interim manager Guus Hiddink has reservations about the move.

Corinthians hope Pato's future will be resolved in the next two days amid interest from a club in Portugal, although it is thought Pato prefers a move to England.
