About time this thread ended hey ladies? It seems to have turned into a slagging off match between the supporters. It also seems that the HF seem to be escape goats for any borderline behaviour. Of course throwing coins is wrong as it's a waste of money throwing them at the hooker f***1ng w@nker Rooney (Obviously has some mummy issues going on). I never saw any plane gestured & I was next to B block. I never heard the away London supporters as they were drowned out all game long.
Back to the question of someone 'conducting' the HF - seems an incredible waste of money to buy a ticket and then not even watch the game, but perhaps that tells you all you need to know about the 'ultras' - that the football doesn't really matter. Is there really any need for this? I'm sure everybody knows what the poster meant. I wasn't aware that this site was only for the gramatically correct, I thought it was for football/ Palace discussions, not "lets take the pi*s out of somebody because they are not as eloquent as you". And while I'm hear, what differance does it make if someone decides to stand with their back to the game? Does it affect you in any way? Just like the person who watches the game quitely from a corporate box, not my cup of tea, but if you pay your money you are intitled to watch/not watch the game in any manner you choose. Hardly a question of eloquence - stupidity, yes.
Oh, and thank you for not picking me up on the HEAR.
Hope this helps. Not to mention quietly or entitled...

Whoever threw the coin will be banned and rightly so. To those embarrassed at people giving Rooney a bit of a rough time in the corner. Embarrassed? Really? Where have all the real men gone! I have a good view of the corner flag and from what I can see it happens at every home game. Anything to distract the corner taker is good in my book. (But no throwing coins, bottles etc.) So what's your definition of a real man? To me they looked like mugs who'd had one too many lines/drinks and decided to come the c**t with a bloke who can't retaliate whilst being protected by a line of police and stewards. Very brave.

Shame we cannot pick up a point or 3 ,so badly needed, when we do so well against the top clubs. Yes we were beaten but ,like Old T , Ethiad, Stamford B etc, far from disgraced. Now the Rooney thing! Cannot believe a true CP fan played any part. So who did & can we please name & shame them. Ban these arseholes from Selhurst Park.

I wonder how many of the coin throwers will be w*nking themselves silly if Rooney is in-form during the World Cup. I would guess very few, especially if you cast your mind back and his comments coming off the pitch and out of his spud faced pube encrusted hole after the Algeria game, to people who had spent thousands and probably given up jobs to watch him disinterestly drag his fat sweaty pasty multi millionaire carcass around the pitches of South Africa As for coins - meh..it happens and worse happened back in the dark old days of the 70's and 80's - as has been pointed out CCTV will probably pick people out and they will get banned so why some of the over the top handwringing posts I dont know. Although it does seem its given ammo to those on here about our support who seem to have some agenda Far more damaging to football is the object of the copper being hurled has been given a contract worth 300k a week basic.... Edited by The Sash (24 Feb 2014 11.54am) The best sentence on this entire thread of drivel! I'm genuinely interested to know why you would think Palace fans have an agenda against a very vocal and passionate (albeit small) faction of the support if they haven't done anything whatsoever to be ashamed of.

The holmsdale online never fails to blow things way out of proportion. Fan has been arrested for throwing a coin. Job done. You would have thought somebody got seriously injured the way some react to it.

You would have thought somebody got seriously injured the way some react to it. No, it's really not the biggest deal in the world, but this is a forum after all and I can understand why people are pissed off, especially when it's on live TV and getting the club in the press for the wrong reasons. Plus it's not just 'one fan throwing a coin' people are talking about, that's just one person that has been arrested so far. A good few people were throwing stuff, including a bottle, from whatever sections of Block B. Yes it's just a minority of young idiots who've had one too many WKDs, we all know that, but yet again over these past few seasons the actions of a few have caused a scene. Smashing up/throwing seats and injuring our own fans comes to mind, pathetic little boys but ones that cause issues for the club and other fans. It's almost as bad as real hooliganism because it's just very sad behaviour. So I hope they do get some of the rest of them from CCTV and get them banned. It's embarrassing, simple as that, grow up or piss off away from our club. By the way, yet another player who gets abuse from the word go and then sticks the ball in the back of the net, will those fans ever learn!?
