No matter what type of game it is,I'm always greatly disappointed when Palace lose. However, what I wouldn't have given for Palace to have lost away at WBA in the cup but beaten them there in the league.
Reminds me of the last time we were in the Prem. We beat Charlton away in League cup by fielding a 'B' team, but couldn't get the result against them when it was required most on the final day of the season.
Hoping we can bounce back against Hull on Tues & with a bit of luck have an added boost of at least one new signing. I just pray that these latest rumours don't derail the rest of our season .

Wasn't our day, so good luck to Wigan.

Their keeper made some great saves and the ref had a stinker. How that wasn't a penalty god only knows, still we would have most probably missed it if we we had been awarded it.

Good to see Paddy make an appearance after such a long time out.

Lets move on to Hull....

Jesus H Christ, we lost and are out of the FA cup, big deal, now, when some of our rivals for the drop are playing away ties midweek and knackering their players ,ours will be wrapped up nice and warm resting for the next league fixture.

So Every cloud.

Secondly whats all this crap about not getting any transfers, Whilst I'll agree that I am frustrated and disappointed that we haven't signed Ronaldo, Messi, Crouch and Sissoko, I'm also pleased we haven't signed the plethora of premiership donkeys and OAP's that we we have been linked with ...Carlton Cole... fcuk off.

There has not been one decent signing that we have been linked with that I have thought, yes thank god he's coming to Palace.

With the exception of Wilf, and possibly Jelavich, the rest have been dog toffee and no better than that we have already.

This was always going to be a hard season, and we were always going to be up against it, players know if they come to Selhurst they are working for a manager that deserves and insists on fitness, commitment and hard work, fancy dans and self centered ego maniacs need not apply.

I have faith in Parish and Pulis, and we will stay up, then next year be a much more attractive proposition for players to come and join the red and blue.

Keep the faith and stop bloody moaning, plus I really think Murray will score goals in this league.

Palace were at near full strength today yet got knocked out by a Championship outfit, the fact that the side Wigan put out today was near to one that got relegated, what does that say about us, while I really have faith in our side and think we have done well, the nearer we get to the transfer deadline, I can see us making panic buys .

No Jedinak, KG, Ward,Gabbidon or Bolassie - I don't think so!!
No real platform of protection for a new central defensive pairing where Paddy was feeling his way back in. Mariappa and Jonny Parr well below par (sorry!).

Looked much more threatening when we went to 2 up front and Wilbraham and Gayle showed promising signs of ability to play off each other.

We rested our best two players and lost Parr so only had two subs left. First half was poor but second half we had a real go and should have had a pen Gayle played well must start tuesday their keeper was motm. Wanted us to give Gayle and Williams a full match that was my big disapointment.Great turnout from our fans nice ground good luck Wigan.ps Jeromes dive was laughable.

Our coaches parked up next to the Watford coaches at the service station on the way up and we had to walk past the brighton coaches at our stop on the way back. The Watford fans looked like they were on their way to a relatives execution and the weeds had the same expressions on their faces as kids when they are s***ting their nappies.Seeing them both puts our exit from the FA cup distraction in perspective - we have the excitement of Tuesday to look forward to!
Who would have thought we could be fighting for mid table in January?
