I rate him - I think we should sign him

i do not

Well that's that then.

If we sign the Gomis who I watched in Ligue 1 then we have ourselves a very strong, pacy finisher - exactly what we need - Think Camerone Jerome who can hit a cows arse with a banjo

With games under his belt, playing the way we do and how AP wants to play he would be an excellent signing and foil for our wingers and midfield players

You do wonder about some people, don't you? Gomis would probably be the most exciting forward signing in living memory and some people think we can do better. Who indeed?

i think if we are going to spend that sort of money it would be better to get a younger creative attacking midfield player ,gayle murray and even campbell could do a decent job for us if they are given the chances ,

Campbell has and no he cant
Gayle is our best finisher but at the moment isn't up to leading a PL forward line
GM hasn't sadly got the pace we need

All would have some part to play but not at this moment are they of the complete quality we need.

Next ???

8m and 70k a week does seem like a hell of a lot of money, but maybe we need to, as a club, get with the times and spend big on a striker.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Rumours of 80k a week?

Yeah....maybe not.

£8 mil would be reasonable, and a good sign of intent, but wages of that ilk are just far beyond what we'd pay at the moment.

I think I'll start emailing the club players that I've used on FIFA and no one's heard of.

Agree with this. I can't see us scoring enough. Gomis would be a great signing + we have Sanogo on loan.
