This is a thread about the 2020 US Presidential Election, and whilst it's boring waiting for the result to be FORMALLY declared, that's no excuse for throwing all these personal insults about. Stick to topic or go post elsewhere! (as in on another thread) Edited by becky (13 Nov 2020 6.56pm)

It is amazing to me that 70% of republicans are holding out, talk about delusion. If it is true of course, but the officials have moved heaven and earth to make the counting as fair as possible. Anyway Biden miles in front now, 'called' winning Arizona and over 5 million votes to the good.

That's fair enough but I know people who have worked on Brexit projects for major institutions that are centered in London and they have concluded that they are not moving. We could go into the ins and outs of why that might be but it sounds like you may already know if you have connections to the city. Any British government would look after the city. Only pretenders in opposition who get replaced after losing elections would consider not doing so. No doubt the city trusts the British government to not upset their biggest tax payers.

As for trade.....trade agreements different dependent upon the agreement.....the phrase 'international law' is a very poor one to describe many different agreements, with their own differences, which involve many different countries. You might not like the phrase "international law" but when a Court is involved only the pedantic argue about it.
