Todays first download is some reggae for a change, and a set by Peter Tosh that was recorded in Hempstead, New York in 1979. This is without any doubt the best quality Peter Tosh bootleg that I've ever heard. The sound quality is fantastic and it's a wicked set - ending with the classic Legalize it!. This is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is the holy grail for any fans of the Foo Fighters. This bootleg is a demo tape made by Dave Grohl recorded in 1990/91. He plays all the instruments himself. Apparently he gave the demo tape to his friend Jenny Toomey who owned Simple Machines Records. It was released as a cassette tape under the band name "Late" and was called "Pocket Watch".... it's now practically impossible to find..... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album by this band that I've posted. They are called Tantric and this is a short show they did at The Roxy in Hollywood CA in 2001. This is in superb quality and has been taken from a Westwood One "Absolutely Live" FM Broadcast. They play rock in a similar style to "Alice In Chains".... thats all I know about them... this show rocks though - and is thoroughly recommended.... why not try it? Todays first download is a set by Adele which was recorded on Monday night in Paris, France. This is a wicked set in superb quality - the audio has been taken from a french radio FM broadcast. There is some dj chatter in between songs but not over the music. If you like Adele, then this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by LCD Soundsystem that was recorded on their farewell tour earlier this year. This was recorded at Madison Square Garden, New York on the 4th Feb 2011. This has been taken from a webcast recording and is in superb quality. I've posted a few boots by this band - this is another top notch recording... and for fans of LCD Soundsystem it's thoroughly recommended - because if this is their final show... there won't be any more.... Todays extra download is an unreleased live album by Janes Addiction that was recorded in Milan in 1990. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set. This was professionally recorded but for some reason never released. A video was also shot at the same time. If you like Janes Addiction, then grab this one - thoroughly recommended.... Hi Staffie hope all is well. Any chance of finding Satta Massagana by The Abyssinians? Its an album. Saw them in Brighton a week or two ago and they were great live.They are classic late '60s roots reggae for anyone who is not familiar with them. Thanks in anticipation.
