Referring back to my post on the train station attack in Kramatorsk. You would think that satellites are aimed over the conflict zones at this point. Are those satellites powerful enough to record missiles that enter airspace? If so they can plot their time, trajectory and path as it enters airspace, and so be able to track its original position back. Maybe that can only be done once the missile reaches a certain height and it can't be done with these smaller missiles. Then again, you would think that with the number of drones in use that most missile activity would be recorded. It would certainly resolve those situations. However, you would have to rely upon the honesty of those in control of the information and they aren't going to release information that hurts their own narratives. There have been satellite images which tend to verify that what looks obvious, is the truth. Not yet of the incident at the railway station, but of an earlier one showing bodies lying in the street and a mass grave that the Russians claimed were all staged. They traced satellite images from several days earlier, whilst the Russians were still there, which showed exactly the same things. Maybe something will be found for the railway incident too. No doubt though the Russians will simply say they are faked!
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

No doubt though the Russians will simply say they are faked! If those are indeed bodies and the date is accurate I think it's strong evidence for Russian responsibility. All the Russians have for the satellite image is that it's fake, but that doesn't sound that convincing to me. What happened there involved civilian deaths in the hundreds other than the six or seven marks shown in the one image I've seen but though there are some questions I'd agree that this looks Russian. The Railway incident has the missile serial numbers though hopefully we will get more evidence. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Apr 2022 6.17pm)

I hear Mariupol is very close to falling, the Ukrainians have put up incredible resistance there despite being cut off for weeks. The Steel works was the redoubt but it's not long now.

No doubt though the Russians will simply say they are faked! It's a pointless distraction, detached from the big picture and designed to loosen support for a people in peril. Said big picture isn't one that's at all hard to see (an invaded and besieged country). Not as though we'll ever be invaded, but if we are I'd like to think it would be recognised on those terms, rather than our misery and destruction being the backdrop to whatever inevitably fringe angle can be found to denigrate or doubt us. With some you have to wonder what is really going on with them. Their focus, the groups they target, the passion behind doing so. The lack of contrition for, or apparent understanding of their own behaviour. Do that in the real world and you're ejected from the pack. Which, in all likelihood is explanation enough for its online presence. The digital bandaid of the failed. Edited by BlueJay (10 Apr 2022 3.38am)

Dozens of people found in mass grave near Kyiv, says official "Ukraine says it's discovered another mass grave near Kyiv, after Russian forces withdrew from areas north of the capital to focus their assault on the east. According to the Reuters news agency, an official in the village of Buzova said the bodies of dozens of civilians were found in a ditch near a petrol station. There's been no independent confirmation, but a number of mass graves have so far been found in areas around Kyiv. The Russian army had occupied the area for weeks while surrounding the Ukrainian capital. There's been international condemnation of Moscow over alleged war crimes. Moscow denies targeting civilians."

I drove from Barcelona to Warsaw last weekend and dropped supplies and two volunteers, we were supposed to bring back some refugees but nobody wanted to come, the rumours were that the end of the war was imminent. Personally can’t see it myself as the volunteers are now on the border and everyday more and more arrive.

As much as I'm love peace, it doesn't really appear that he has much interest in it.

Straight after his topless horse (and dolphin) riding sessions. Our politicians should try it, if only for a bit of entertainment. Boris riding a dolphin will probably not go down well with the RSPCA.
