I remember with my dad and brother sitting in traffic not moving for what seemed like hours back in the 70's lol

Now how did that not make it to the USA, or even NYC. We Yanks are truly culturally backwards!

Just a thought.

Stadium plans including increase AW concourse which is just not fit for purpose.

Could we not do this work now??

Whitehorse changes are dependent on Main Stand build but AW surely is not.

AW is currently holds over 8,000 so surely better facilities (toilets and food outlets) would increase the customer experience and potentially also revenue (food outlets not toilets!)

It’ll decrease capacity in the AW.

Irrelevant. Different local authority.

Croydon Council have told us we have to do it. So we have to do it.

My point about the new WHL is that the public transport infrastructure remains as was. Nothing to do with road management. If Croydon council insist we do something, then yes it has to be done.

And maybe, just maybe, British Rail ran full length trains in those days, with additional services on match days as opposed to the minimalist service we get now.

I seriously doubt that the long term plan is to leave the AW as it is.
Obviously, the Main Stand needs to get built and then I expect there will be a discussion on further plans. A bit pointless spending money on something that might get completely remodeled in the coming years and the White Horse need s doing first. It is pathetic. I suspect a lot of season ticket fans in the Arthur will transfer to the new Main Stand anyway so it will be more casual supporters who have to put up with it for a while longer.

Spot on. Haringey is a useless council that probably took more than a few backhanders from Levy. Croydon and Parish are both far more reputable, regardless what some may say here. His reputation over here is exemplary. He has refused to grease NYC Mayor deBlasio's palm on several occasions when a few quid could have gone a long way. After all, Useless wants to be President.

What a complete load of self important clap trap. How do you know what has been discussed and has gone on behind the scenes? Please explain how you know that the Mayor, any Mayor has asked for a back hander? And please explain how you know it was refused 'on several occassions'. You are laughable and if I was 'said Mayor' and saw what you'd written I'd be looking to find out who you are and serve some legal papers upon you. We all know it goes on, What YOU do not know is what you claim above.
I've read some tripe on here but this garbage takes the cake!
