Agreed, it was deliberately and carefully worded to cause offence but could in no way to be construed as a threat. It was a publicity stunt from 3 years ago making the point that context and intent is important and not just "words". Something that's entirely lost (or set aside) by the mainstream media when it doesn't suit their political bias. What we should really be focusing on is why they would have any political bias in the first place. Carl Benjamin has also been highlighting the fact that apologizing for offence in the current climate is a mistake as this is just a tactic to remove people from the debate (as it's just the first step of many towards being vilified) . It's an interesting experiment if nothing else and someone has to stand up to the left's control of language and accepted narrative as it grows ever narrower. Spot on sir.

Haha. Brexit inches ever closer to being thrown on the scrap heap, just where it belongs. How do you deduce that out of interest?

It will be interesting to see how the pro Remain and Pro Brexit parties do. I think The Brexit party will be the single biggest UK party or at least I hope so.

Or are the left choosing to be upset? Yep, just like their playbook....most comedy is s***e now because of the left.....now it attacks on offensive humour that they don't like. Even with something that they deem offensive.....a non threat....they have our Police actually looking into this crap. The left/neo liberals can't meme...so what do they do...the EU ban memes. Then with 2020 coming up some are saying that the next on the list will be anything they deem 'controversial' debate. Anything they can't win at they look to ban. And they have the gall to call right wingers Nazis.

Noticed anything about the last 3 years? What has been the 1 constant thread? Inability to deliver any kind of Brexit. At best you will get a soft as a soft boiled egg Brexit, with a customs union etc etc.

At best you will get a soft as a soft boiled egg Brexit, with a customs union etc etc. I think it's being endlessly dragged out until a point that enough people just give up on it as an idea. Maybe that was the plan all along, by both our Gov and the EU. So from that perspective it may be a battle of, for want of a less cheesy term, hearts and minds. By that I mean, with the EU elections now going ahead and a likely huge turn out for the Brexit Party, this keeps the pressure on. As long as the pressur eis on and there is fear of consequence, Brexit is still a possibility. The local elections sent a message too, though I worry that the Tories and Labour might attempt to both shoulder the blame with a joint agreement that will just about keep the two party system in place. That's their main priority, their own careers, not the country.

I must admit that even I am bored with Brexit.....but hell...lets get to that 2000 pages! What's happened has been a serious breach between the political class and the governed.....but that's been going on for quite a while in several other areas anyway......So I'm less angry about this particular disfigurement now....it's more a mixture of bemusement and cynicism now. Once you scratch the surface you find it's a statement made in 2010 at a centre right MEP at a speech the BBC didn't quote to provide context. But let's all jump on the Volkswagen. The Nazi slogan was also used to call someone else a Nazi, but you are using the headline to call the UKIP MEP a Nazi. I'll deserve judgement until I see the full context of the speech he was critism. He was also called "mentally ill" by a Green MEP. I can't think of a context where this could be acceptable. But we all made decisions in the past that we may regret now "Pussay Patrol". Suggest you question what you read before trying to jump on anything that is linked to your agenda.
