To be fair to him it couldn’t have been any fun playing for us last season. He must have found it incredibly frustrating at times but now he has every reason to look forward to getting on the pitch again and really showing what he can do. He has definitely looked back to his best during pre-season.

Sorry to say, but this does sound like a bit of straw clutching to me. He wants to go, if we signed Messi I think that would still be the case, as he wants more money, more trophies and to be playing at a higher level. If someone offers £40m+ for him (and with wages of around £6m) we could actually finance two very handy players
I think we should start building post-Wilf, rather than trying to hold on to someone who’s lost a bit of love for us

Wilf will likely stay, unless there's a bid from a non-PL team.

If we get Delafeau, even though he probably won't start until next year, that's a major coup.

Still one more attacking player coming in, 2 if Zaha goes go but as it stands no bids for Wilf.

Attacking Players we are looking at/talking too:

Sarr
Deloufeu
BAS
Benrahma

Then we are still in for:

Downes
Kotchop

Any of those 4 wide players are looking pretty exciting, so I really do hope we get one of them.

I think signing Benrahma would be the difference for us getting a top 10 finish, so I am hopeful we land him more than the others.

Sarr has looked good in the EPL and given his youth and sell on potential he is the player I would prefer. However, to be able to afford him we would have to get an acceptable bid in for Wilf.

From what I can gather from these pages and assorted rumours, Zaha is likely to stay. As a newly relegated club, Watford are under a lot of financial pressure, and may need to sell Sarr for a lot less than they would have wished for? A hopeful thought which may well be BS!

In my Palace experience, it's the hope that kills you !

There are big differences though:

Ismaila Sarr is very good for his age, but....38-40 million (!!)

Deulofeu...good player, but hasn't played all season...and he doesn't cost like 2-3 million either

Osayi-Samuel...don't really find him exciting, very one-sided, soon to be 23,hasn't done too much on the Championship until 23

Benrahma...good, but pretty short and bulk, doesn't (can't) run very much or fast coming back with the side defender of the opposing team

I'd add Florinel Coman too, cause he has been rumoured, but he also doesn't come back with his man fast enough and costs 15 million.

I find BOS exciting. He is quick, unpredictable. He is similar to Antonio and Yannick at the same age. (Matteo will likely provide stats)

For 3m, it’s a no brainier for me. His best friend is here as well which might make Eze settle and bring the best out in him.

QPR fans are not happy with BOS going on the cheap and are disappointed he won’t extend his current deal and command a higher fee. Despite this I have seen some of them describe him as unplayable at times - but inconsistent.
So he’s a different prospect to others mentioned IMO as is not quite ready to start in the Prem.
The money being touted however makes him a good option for us, he could be introduced to the match day squad slowly as he develops. Like many on here having seen a bit of him during the end of EFL season on TV - I think he is an exciting prospect and would be a good addition.
