Tell me. At what point do you think Black people will be content? How far back in people's phone history will we have to search? How many statuses will we pull down? How much positive discrimination will they need before they are content? Wake up. This never ends.
His United Nations of football anoraks didnt happen in one of the UK's no-go areas, we can safely assume.

If you think the abuse is warranted then that's your perspective. It depends upon the perspective. You come at this stuff like it's a religion of moral absolutism....black and white as it were. You want to frame things in certainties.....sure, but what if people don't agree with you on those certainties? Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Jun 2021 12.26am)

So a person leaves a load of monkey and banana emojis after Marcus Rashford’s Instagram post. And then someone replies to that calling the person who left that post a racist c*nt. Both as bad as each other are they?

You think it won’t stop until us white people are getting chased out of our houses. Whereas really most minorities just want to be treated equally and not have to deal with mindless abuse while they’re trying to go about their daily business.

You didn't read my reply properly. I think you can take a moral position on the situation but the abuse is still abuse. Like I said, you want to frame the world in moral absolutes, whereas that only works if everyone agrees. For example, I think most legal abortion is disgusting.....but you probably don't. I've never really understood why people get so worked up about monkey pictures. It is sub school playground level.

Some abuse is definitely warranted if it’s calling out sh*tty behaviour (and yes that definition is subjective but surely we all agree leaving monkey and banana emojis is). I think all that’s changed now is that people aren’t so afraid to call out their abuser. Not just on racial issues, but on things like creepy sexual behaviour, being homophobic and the like. People just used to suffer in silence and the abuser just continued as they like, unchallenged, and often thinking they were doing no wrong because of it. As a society I think we’ve got a lot better at standing up for ourselves in the last few years and not letting the bully boys win.

hey Dan, would you call me a racist if i wrote some unkind words about Marlon King......he has a litany of criminality, convictions and prison spells on his cv.
or do my words offend you ? the reason being, the fear of being called a racist allowed the pakistani rape gangs run amok. People like yourself were part of the problem. Lefty do-gooders without a spine. All hypocrisy and high talk.

Listen to people that are on the receiving end and see what they say. Not that it will ever happen, people like you never listen. You think you know it all already.

Lefty do-gooders without a spine. All hypocrisy and high talk. Marlon King has a shopping list of misdemeanours to call him a c*nt for. You don’t need to concern yourself with his skin colour. If you call him a c*nt for all the wrong’un behaviour of course that’s not racist. If you can him a c*nt because he’s black that is racist. This really isn’t that difficult is it?
