The Muslims do that virtually everywhere. Walk around Brooklyn & you'd think you were in downtown Riyadh. It's definitely an Islamic noise! not a Christian thing, playing there services at stupid o'clock in the morning over South East asia. Think Wisbech is getting his religions confused!

You need to learn to read and not make assumptions. All I said was that I noticed a particular place being busy on a what I remembered being a Saturday and people then assumed ignorance. It may well be that it really was a Saturday and it was for some kind of kids party, or other event. It could be that my memory was faulty and it was a Friday. What it doesn't mean is that I am unaware that the Islamic holy day is a Friday. It is very instructive how people have jumped onto a very minor remark and tried to blow it up into some kind of international crisis. Reminds me of Trump like diversion tactics designed to shift the focus away from arguments they know they have lost. More excuses... You just can't stop can you...ok I get it. It's not the fact that you don'tknow much about Islam - it's because you have problems working out what day of the week it is... and if it makes you happy old boy I have lost... being senile is just part of growing up. so we'll leave it there - you probably need more time to repeat the same old excuses over and over. I have a (I'm guessing a Pentecostal) type church at the end of my block (It's actually a kind of community centre)who make a bit of noise on Sunday mornings from 9AM ish thru midday, the rest of the week you don't hear a peep.

Oh but legally it does. For someone to acquire British citizenship these days costs a lot of money, requires a great deal of paperwork, proof of entitlement, proof of income, proof of an increasing competence in English and finally to pass the "Life in the UK" examination. Those things are intended to help the applicant achieve the things you want. It has tightened up a lot in recent years but of course we can still do better.
