Great news about Bats but I still think we need a backup striker, what happens if he gets injured. Trekkers isn't going anywhere, and before he got injured was adding a lot to his game, except of course, from scoring goals!

With Eze and Bats joining us it would not surprise me if in the coming days weeks Wilf extends his contract. He was on fire when Bats and indeed Bolaise were in team and seemed to really be enjoying his football. Its might be no coincidence that his pre season form is good with him feeling that we are addressing the lack of attacking players.

It could also be that there has been no significant interest and therefore he has been professional and focused on improving on a disappointing season. I wanted him to leave at the end of the season, but in preseason he has changed my mind showing that he still can be a star and that he appears willing to play for the club, I just hope no one unsettles him by making a derisory offer.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

He'll probably wait until the January window shuts. But yeah why not - if he is not the only flair player we have and the pressure is off he can enjoy his football. I think that he could be disappointed that no big move came off, but if we are pushing on this season with the right team / squad then I would hope that we see him settle, play well and push up further up the league table. Challenge for silverware in the Red n Blue Wilf, you know it makes sense.

We are certainly in talks all about price cause we have done a top deal with Batshuayi it’s allowed our budget to stretch further also still very much interested in Sarr. I personally think Sarr will sign if Zaha goes. Do you know if this Coman rumour is true?

Yeah you actually said it on the 8th Sept two days ago but it’s hard keeping track isn’t it. What u said many weeks ago was than Connor Gallagher was a done deal. Then when the news broke that we were signing Bats on loan you said we’d changed our mind. Both couldn’t be done deals two weeks ago could they? Because we can’t loan two players from one club. So which is it? You’re so full of it. You're the one that's full of it. It was widely reported that Gallagher was done including his medical.. Clearly palace preferred Bats and pulled out.. You must be so miserable internally to feel the need to dig people out constantly like a few others on here too.

It could ALSO be that as there have been no bids for him, he see's preseason as his last chance to persuade someone to put a bid in for him...and if he still ends up staying he'll turn into the same disheartened Wilf we saw *last* year.

Possibly, but let's start out positive! The idea of Wilf at his best alongside Bats, Eze and Ayew sounds, as Bats would put it, Sauce FC
