How does the expression go, “if you are good enough, you are old enough”. I get where you are coming from about experience though and there is no reason why we can’t have a look at some of the old hands that might be available on loan to do a job temporarily for us.

He'll sit on the bench for a while. In the meantime Schlupp, Luka, Riedwald all gone by next season. Ozoh to figure in more games with Doucoure in preparation.

I've often felt that the biggest advantage of a January signing is they hit pre-season running. Anything you get from them before that is a bonus.
