Parish will hang on to Roy as long as he can. He wont want to be the man who sacked Roy in his last job before retirement.
He has a weakness of showing too much loyalty, in Roys case for keeping us up the last 3 years.

end of last season & this , is sadly some of the worst
, uninspiring product ive seen since late 60s.
We are so dull to watch.
I remember a sunday game being along the lines of swansea vs sunderland..you'd not watch it, utter dross.
I'm afraid we are now that.

This is the first time where I've seriously thought "Are they going to sack him?" I've always been resigned to the idea of letting Roy see out his contract, but he and the team are making it really hard to back him. If this wasn't likely to be his last job I do wonder if he'd have any support.

I imagine the odds on him being sacked just got a lot shorter.

Agreed, totally unacceptable, as much as I am beyond frustrated with Roy, that's way below the belt.

We look tired and clapped out, nothing new left to try, and I fear for the performances coming up against Wolves, Newcastle, Leeds and Brighton.
Roy, you've done good service, than you. But it's time to part company.
