How long before the HF demand a free pint and programme in order for us to be blessed with their attendance. The start of a slippery slope. I think everyone in block E should pretend to want to be in the choir and renew next season.

I think this situation was always going to split opinions between fans. I think that a solution needed to be found as everyone has to agree the HF have been great for the club, especially in those dark bottom half Championship days. The fact that players such as Meyer said they were one of the reasons he joined the club speaks volumes, and I am sure the existing players also had an influence on this outcome. Going forward I do believe they will make the club even better than it already is, and could well help us attract great sponsors and players as well as more young supporters. However, i also hope that the fans that will have to be moved and also those that choose to remain and then request a move in later seasons for reasons such as having to stand up all game etc, that they are all compensated by way of free memberships in the stand of their choice for a sufficient length of time. It is what they all deserve as they are just as important as the HF and this has to be recognised. All parties are vital for the club going forward and I am sure Steve has already considered this when making this decision. The last point must be that this is the final move and no further changes will be made going forward. Looking forward to seeing the HF again and here's to getting our famous atmosphere back.
Some people are like Slinkies … not really good for anything, but you can’t help smiling when you see one tumble down the stairs. |

However, it is the best thing the club could have done, and I’m over the moon to hear our atmosphere is going to return. We were slowly turning into Arsenals and it was clearly effecting the players performances, so it’s going to improve results at home for sure.[/quote] Like losing to Sunderland and Swansea at home with the HF there. When will some of you wake up and realise players win matches not the "Atmosphere". Our great atmosphere last season I suppose helped us to only win 7 of 19 home games!! Fantastic news from the club! Iam pro enhancing the atmosphere and agree with the fans who are of the view that moving a singing section to a more central block will help in achieving this. *This might not even happen in the end,but it's worth trying out. But iam disheartened with the view of those fans who either don't wish for this to happen or are disengenous about the positives of a good atmosphere to the Match day experience. #UpThePalace #UpTheHF

The club refer to block E as a singing section, which is fair enough. But the crux of the issue is that nowhere have the club said that it is a standing block because standing is against the rules of the stadium and the law.

I’d say pretty much everyone supported the plans to enhance our atmosphere. What people have a problem with is going ahead with proposals without consent of the current seat holders. Although I’m sure you know that already, and that was just a way of attempting to discredit the people who don’t happen to share your personal view. Edited by Mstrobez (26 Sep 2018 9.35pm)
