If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

John Jackson.

He used to get the 5.30 train from East Croydon back to Hove (where he lived)with everybody else going home from the game or shopping or whatever. Unless you knew it was him he could have been anybody sitting amongst all the other passengers reading his paper.Provided you didn't make a scene - he seemed embarrassed about being a semi-celebrity- he always found a minute or two for autographs or a quick word about the game. A true gentleman.

Definetely that lad that run on the pitch and netted during the 22 man brawl at watford. Showing genuine passion and commitment he bobbed, he weaved and when all about him where losing their heads, dug deep and produced the mother of all finishes.

Exactly what playing for our club should be about.

how the f*@k he became a pro Ill never know!!!

Best Palace player had to be Kenny Sansom, he was consistant, solid, reliable and an all round good egg.

Gotta be the jolly Simon Rodger, he had commitment and the determination for the club no one could ever fault,

I'll never forget the Play off final in 96 against leicester, he sprained his ankle and we'd no subs left so he played on for the last 20 mins of ET jus to make a nuisance of himself, Legend!!!!
