Well there we go, i guess Matt can't answer my hard hitting questions after all. Go on, what are they, list them for me now, and I will answer each one now. The thing is I have answered many of these questions so many times probably on this thread even, that it is quite tedious, but list them now and I'll answer them now.

I don't just believe in Jesus Christ because of Bible, I have a relationship with Him, I speak to Him, He answers my prayers.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

I thought you'd gone cos you couldnt be doing with us ignorant people? who is God, where did he come from? God is the beginning, the alpha the omega, there has to be a beginning, and the only thing that can be the beginning is something that didn't need to be created, designed or have any beginning. The possibility of a creator outside of time, and human understanding is the only logical possibility. God is a loving, forgiving, longsuffering but just and graceful God. where is heaven physically? Heaven doesn't exist physically, it is a place that only your soul can go, otherwise maybe one day we could discover it. - it certainly wasn't at the Stadium of Light yesterday. Why are Christians winners and non Christians loosers? I was saying that non-Christians seem to reguarly look down on Christians as losers, and point was saying that if anyone WAS a loser it wasn't the Christian. Christian's have eternal life, non-Christians don't YET. Why is Mary white, and God a man? Who said Mary is white? God is a man because He is a man, why are you a woman? How do you know that living your life by this religion is all worth it? Because it has been so far! why doesnt God intervene in world events? He gave humans free will, He's not going to take it away just because we can't be trusted with it. Surely Christians cannot have free will because the fact that they live their lives the way they do must take away some elements of freedom? Christians make the choice using their free will, to submit to God's will. They can change their mind anytime they want, we still have free will, and sometimes we slip up, we aren't perfect don't claim to be, and shouldn't be expected to be. Next....

No. But something had to start the beginning of the universe. I do however believe there will be an end.

So this is why people believe in the big bang theory, and some may even think this is how it will end

What started the thing that caused the thing that started the thing that caused the big bang, if it really happened?

and this brings us nicely back to the beginning of the thread. having read the entire thread again, there are not too many questions that have gone unanswered and there have beenvery interesting answers. i've learnt a lot about both sides of the argument. it is fairly obvious that both sides require a arge proportion of faith and that neither side holds all of the answers. however, if your belief makes you happy and suits you best then so be it. as long as you can then accept the views of others and hold a rational debate then there are no problems. so well done Rach for starting an interesting thread and thanks to all (but one) of the posters who have made this thread so interesting.
