Personally I would rather languish at the bottom of Div 2 than be associated with a s***E like him...Gadaffi is evil...a leopard like him never changes his spots...just hides behind them.......surely Jordan has morals besides just a business head...he says he would never sell out to Noades but seems to be willing to consider a bid from this guy...If I had the choice I know who Id rather have.... ........Maybe this is one of the reasons Dowie has yet to put pen to paper??? I totally agree with you mike. you are spot on. I would never welcome gadaffi into this club and i am afraid i won't put any money into him. He won't give two f*cks about us. Only the money. He has already called us fools on a different thread apparantly. It is ridiculous i can't believe it is happening it is quite sad. Just as i was lookin forward to the new season and going up to games with my dad this sh1t comes out!!!! My dad has said he will not go to a game again if this tw@t takes over and my dad has been supporting them for 40 years and given so much money to them. This is what he gets!!! This is what all of us get!!! we are the ones who spend our money the players and staff get payed no matter what we are the ones who spend money and sit in the freezing cold sometimes. Iam lost 4 words now. i can't believe people are sayingit might be a good thing!!

Having slept on it, I still don't think this will happen. If it did happen, I wouldn't be one of the one's against him buying Palace. He may be a filthy individual but if it bring's us success, that's fine with me.
It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. - John Bostock (Nov 2007) |

Yep,I'm going with it.We all know filthy individuals down the pub but we still have a drink with them if we can get something out of them!!!!!If he's got the dosh and wants to invest it in the club then praise be to Allah!!!You have to remember that there's not a lot he can take from the club,no stadium and all that.So all he can do is put in!!.........Agreed?!!!!!
I don't need to sell my soul...he's already in me.

I haven't read the rest of the posts yet as I have just got up, (It's only 8 30 here), but if this happens I will no longer support Crystal Palace. Some things are bigger than sport. Mike Quote tarquin at 16 Jul 2004 11:35pm

Chill out, it won't happen, and if it does and it takes the club forward then so be it. You say he's evil? Well maybe he is. but not so long ago our governments were allies with the likes of Saddam and Pinochet. Dictators are only evil when our governments say so. Lockerbie was a disgrace, as is Iraq right now. Don't get me wrong I'm not warming to the idea but I'm definately not going to get all wound up about it. I'd rather have Gadafi than Geaorge Bush, that's for sure.

When Jordan says he'd consider a bid, I don't think he means a bid from Gadaffi. If he were to say that he'd tell him where to shove it, other potential buyers would assume the club is not for sale. However, by saying he'd listen to an offer, he's basically saying the club is for sale, though I very much doubt he'd sell to Gadaffi.

It will never happen but I would like to say Welcome Aboard Uncle Gadafi!!! Seeing as everyone is not gonna bother turning up to selhurst if his consortium takes power, Can I have your season tickets? He is no different to any other Dictator/President/Prime Minister, there all liars all crooks all in it because big business says so. So sit back relax and let the good times roll!!
The mountains are calling & I must go. |
