hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing. |

This is so bonkers that there must be a hidden agenda. Perhaps they are hoping to benefit from a new British renewable energy industry, which will clearly be all about making money and nothing to do with the reality of environmental issues. Killing off fossil fuels in the UK would be a first step. I'm sure it will cost the taxpayer a fortune.

You will eat insects. As the world population grows, as it will for decades, we will be expected to have less of the pie. Our standard of living will drop. Meanwhile, the population is ageing due to falling birth rates in Europe, so our idiot politicians are topping up the work force with immigrants. A sure fire way to make a bad situation far worse. Power shortages, water shortages. More stress on everything.

Nonsesnse. If I scrape my car while parking, I have done exactly that - unintentionally allowed it to happen. I fully expect you now to embark on some convoluted argument to demonstrate that you, as ever, are right. But I've already learnt, having made my point, not to waste any more time in further discussion. So argue away to your heart's content. Good for a laugh I suppose. So when unintentionally scraping your car you had to first seek your own permission and allow yourself to do it? Accidents happen by accident. Not by permission.

Absolutely. I blame Net Zero. Get our emission quotas down, by making it as someone elses problem.
Very responsible behaviour! Kicking the can down the road and expecting others to do our job for us is a policy that will end in disaster for us, and all mankind.

Unless and until something better is devised that ensures the BBC receives the funds it needs without them depending on government for them, it’s the best system.

I'm beginning to think that the opposition parties won't need to say anything because Labour are going to legislate themselves out of government. Revoking the Rwanda plan as the boats arrive in larger numbers. Only a few days in. I'm getting a large supply of popcorn. You will run out! It’s going to take a lot more than that, with such a huge majority, 5 years in front of them and the Tories in a mess. Revoking a costly white elephant makes sense. It wasn’t deterring anyone. It could have, but wasn’t. Halting oil and gas discovery is showing leadership and determination. Someone needs to. We cannot just leave dealing with climate change to someone else. David Lammy might not be the most inspiring politician, or my choice as foreign secretary, and might have gone OTT on Trump, but saying in plain words that which is obvious to most of us, will do him no harm anywhere but inside Trump’s head.
