Yep, they know his value will increase....I agree with your valuation over these next few years.

Cheap as chips at the current price because he's a sure thing.

Being a bit hypocritical here we took advantage of a sell on clause when we got him from Reading, hope he stays but if not we get a decent ish fee for him and move on, it will always happen that money talks, I think our most important person to keep is Glasner, won’t be long before so called big sides will be looking

This. If Glasner enables us to punch above our weight next season and we either win a cup or qualify for Europe by playing aggressive attacking football, the Big Boys will be circling like sharks. I fully expect Bayern to back once Kompany fails on the job, as could any of Manure, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs if things don't go as hoped for by them.

The biggest mistake we could make is agree to take some of Chelsea’s dross players in a part exchange Olise deal. Trevoh Chalobah and Noni Madueke are woeful and my Chelsea mates are eager to see the back of them. Not to us my friends.

"Michael Olise: Chelsea set to sign France Under-21 winger from Crystal Palace"

[Link]

That's from the BBC sport homepage on 15th August 2023.

Given what happened last summer that went as far as the BBC reporting it, why are people giving any of these individual rumours from clickbait sites any of their brain capacity? The answer to 'is there any truth?' in any of these rumours is no!

With Olise, no-one knows anything until it comes out from the club. His camp is really tight-lipped.

I'm sure Parish knows what he's doing but if I were him I'd be making it clear from the get go that we are not interested in any of Chelsea's players. Only cold, hard cash.
Unless of course Glasner has identified one of their players he'd love to have. In which case said player would have to be in the conversation if a deal is to be done.
Palace are in the driving seat here. If Olise is not asking to leave and remains happy at Palace the buying club need to offer something very tempting. To Palace and to Michael

Its the arrogance of these so called bigger clubs that annoys me. They leak a story that they'd be prepared to offer one or two of their 'stars' in exchange for Olise and act like they're doing us a favour! What they are actually attempting is to sign one of the best players in the Prem right now on the cheap while getting rid of rubbish they dont want. I imagine they think we're such idiots and they are so clever.....IF they were to pull it off.

If they offered Gallagher plus cash, it maybe of interest.

Not sure where he fits anymore we have very good defensive midfield. He is not a wingback winger or striker which is where we need strengthening

This is true, but can anyone honestly say that they had ever heard of him before he signed for Palace?

Well I had knowledge of Eze when he was a QPR and you could see he had potential, but Olise didn’t register with me at all…

Of course Chelsea won’t offer us anyone decent in an attempted part exchange. They are desperate to get rid of their dross to anyone gullible enough to take them and have got their friendly ‘reporters’ working like mad at places like the Express trying to big up rubbish.
