Just look at the way Luton are playing with a FAR inferior squad (in theory). Their attitude, approach and desire is clear for all to see.

It just shows you what can be achieved with the right leadership and motivation.

That sits with the manager.

Roy has lost the plot and should be relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

The players must see his comments and think, "f*** you old man." We need a change just to bring some positivity back. We have youth now. There's no excuse for being so passive. Brighton also put out a weakened team and didn't even have to play that well to win. It was embarrassing.

Patrick Vieira was sacked after a difficult set of fixtures which culminated in a 1-0 loss to BHA. I don't know what Hodgson has to do for Parish to finally give him the heave-ho. Today's 4-1 defeat against the same side that ended Vieira's Palace career was as bad as it gets.
Hodgson this season has served up a far far worse series of abysmal performances and results than Vieira ever came close to matching.
In short Vieira came nowhere near to replicating the awful sense of hopelessness that Hodgson has inflicted on the club this season.
Mr Parish, what is holding you back?

Vieira was sacked for other reasons other than just results.
He would've been in charge v Arsenal if hadn't behaved like a giant douchebag towards his employers!

I am going to underline two big fouls:
The goalkeeper issue. In his pre-match speech (Roy) said that we have two equivalent keepers. Nothing is farther to the truth. Johnstone is by far the better one. The fact he is not playing must have quite a lot of backstage.
The use of Olise under the current circumstances. A complete misjudgement( or something worse?).
I don't think that he may offer anything positive in staying.

I stayed off the chat for the evening and was hoping to come on to find he had gone. Nothing.

I am convinced more than ever that he ain’t going anywhere… well except down into the championship.

For those asking who would take it. Offer what you have to, to potter, cooper, f***ing jose mourinho or pulis. Even just to get us to the end of the season. But do it. Do it now ffs. Enough of this bulls***.

Yes, this may have been the case, but for sheer ineptitude, piss poor results, running down the young players, running down the fans, all with a condescending arrogance that belies someone who has a mediocre record in the game apart from a hard to fathom longevity, nothing beats Roy Hodgson this season.

If he doesn't go this week, we would have to beat Chelsea for even the slightest chance of redemption.

We are not going to beat Chelsea if Roy is here and there is over a week until that game...

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Just hope SP and the rest of the board accept their culpability in the way the season has gone.
Roy will be the fall guy, whilst Teflon Steve gets minimal flack for the boards abject mismanagement of the first team squad.
Have a championship bench, we deserve a championship team.
Cheers Steve!

Seeing his interview, I think Roy is disillusioned. He’s stubborn, arrogant and incapable of accepting blame. I cannot feel sorry for him and he should take his millions and relax in the sun while he still can.

He is no use to this club anymore.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
