I know Solanke, who was tipped for great things earlier in his career, but only now looks to be fulfilling his potential.
I don’t know the latter two names , who sound interesting but could they make the immediate impact we need?
I quite like Ndidi at Leicester if we’re looking to strengthen midfield.
He’s returned to form this season and has skill, physicality and aggression.
I think I read that his contract runs out at the end of the season.

It was in pre-season in conversation with someone I suggested Dominic Solanke but the response focussed on his poor goal return last campaign.

I also suggested midfielder Pierre Ekwah whom Sunderland signed from W.Ham.I was informed that the deal included a sell-on and buy-back clause. He impressed me when I saw him plough his furrow for Sunderland.

More recently I have suggested AFC Wimbledon striker Ali Al-Hamadi whom the club signed from Wycombe Wanderers.

Very reasonable comments, other than one problem with the Board, being committed to loan signings only, after some eleven years of so in the Premiership.
Unless things change dramatically and our form improves,we may find ourselves in the Championship next season.

If all the key players stay fit we will bot get relegated, but can you gamble on that, i wouldnt, 2/3 loans, or i would take 20m plus Nketiah for Guehi.

Our team is by no means relegation material. Even with our bad luck concerning injuries, some more flexibility(having to do mainly with team selection) and a little bit more luck we would at least have seven more points. Eze and Olise clear of injuries with the Mateta we have seen in the last two games is a reason for optimism. If Roy does what he has to in the back then no danger whatsoever.

I am of same mind on this matter.

Should this happen I believe that both Ekwah and Al-Hamadi would prove to be exceedingly valuable acquisitions.

Pardew asserted while he was our manager, that our American Owners simpy did not understand football and their reluctance to invest in our playing squad would appear to confirm this sorry state of affairs,as we continue our downward trajectory.

Forest enjoy new manager bounce as they take lead away at Newcastle and are now sit just one point below us.

Forest looking pretty handy against Newcastle, new found confidence they are going for it. Polar opposite of our turgid display against them that I had to sit through.

Clearly,a different mindset.
They play to win whereas RH,sets us up for a valuable point.
Forest,incidentally,now winning 3-1.

We are in deep doo doo. Poor form, no goals in the team, leaking goals and a clueless manager who is only interested in drawing games. Worrying times

You forgot to add, teams below us starting to play well. Very worrying times.

Luton and Burnley both recorded victories in their last games.Sheff Utd were 1-0 up until A.Villa scored deep into added-on time.Nottm Forest won today.

We are in 'Pitchy seas' and a breath of stagnant air has pervaded over the club.Suffice to say that my brow is corrugated with concern.
