I thought there was plenty of endeavour today but the squad's rubbish.

The kid from Stuttgart looked promising and the one on loan from Arsenal completely out of his depth.

Doucoure is clueless when he's around the final third and we've paid too much for him IMO.

Mateta's a donkey but I'd still rather play him than Edouard.

This is starting to look a bit Frank de Boer after Allardyce to me and Dyche should have been brought in and given input with players.

It seems most have now started to sing from my hymn sheet now, yes, we would all like more investment, but the two with the money arent interested, the bottom line is we have an unbelievably crap manager and no investment would make him a good one.

Yes i agree with that and the longer the season goes on the more he is being exposed as being inept .

Well done Tonks brought in last minute after a back injury to Richards.

And a brilliant equaliser I hope Southgate catches it on MOTD.

Today's performance, against our main rivals was totally unacceptable. The players don't get it and they didn't look interested imo.

They're lazy. There doesn't appear to be any urgency.

It's Hodgsonball but without Hodgson. We sit back and invite wave after wave of pressure, and with those tactics sooner or later we're bound to concede.

The crux of the matter is that we're weak from the top down - the owners, manager and players are nowhere near good enough to compete in this league, and the way we're heading they won't be in this league much longer.

Not a red apparently.

I didn’t see it in real time but remember the ‘incident’

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

From my seat I remember Oliver was stood close to it and trusted he'd made the right decision (clearly he didn't). I thought he was poor by his standards today. He allowed Brighton players to use their arms and hands too much.

A little perspective.

Since Christmas Day in all competitions Brighton's record has been 6-1-1 with the only loss being a 2-4 defeat to Arsenal. In those 8 matches they scored 22 goals and gave up 10. [Remove the two outlier games, Arsenal and Middlesborough, and they are 5-1-0 while scoring 15 goals and yielding 6.] They are a far superior club at the moment – grating, but there it is.

No Zaha, no Andersen, no Player-of-the-Month Richards, and two brand-new midfielders... Let's count our blessings, improve our fitness, look for a striker in summer, and COYP.

The sad reality is that of today's starting 11, only Guehi and Olise would make into any other team. Even if you add Wilf, Anderson and Richards back in, then we still have less than 50% of the quality required to compete! I thought both Hughes and Doucouré tried their best today, but they were totally outclassed in midfield and Schluppy was clueless. Also I can't understand why Eze has fallen away so much, it can't just be the injury. So, its not rocket science why we can't hold on to the ball and are totally ineffective without Wilf up front.

Love to know the reason for Mitchell's decline from a top-rated defender to one who's average on his good days. Injury? Motivation? Distractions off the pitch?

Ironic that we look more and more like a final season Hodgson team with each passing game - low possession stats, few chances, backs to the wall defending, hoping for a lucky break. Last season was more like fantasy football whereby the loanee comes good and actually shows up the dross already at the club on permanent contracts.
