The BBC pundits talked a load of rubbish tonight, especially at half time. Before kick off the most likely scenario was Wales needed to win by 4 clear goals. I was expecting them to tear into England hoping to get an early goal, instead they played like a draw would do. At half time the pundits were all saying the equivalent of job done so far, no it wasn't and even after England scored they never really troubled us. At least on the BBC website the Welsh pundits were a little more honest and called it for what it was a poor showing. As for BBC's finest what is the point of them if they are not going to be honest.

What about your red face then? When I am on holiday I do not have a red face, more a fresh from the rotisserie complexion. Apropos tonight's game, in my humble opinion England were worthy winners against opponents who really were second-best on the night.

Completely dilutes the quality and fills it with waste of time fixtures. There’s already enough crap with 32 teams - the likes of Wales, Iran, Qatar etc shouldn’t be near a major tournament. Wouldn’t surprise me if Wenger got his wish and the WC was played every 2 years. What annoys me even more is that 48 teams as a concept doesn’t work fairly. It needs to be either 16, 32 or 64. The 24 team Euros are now a nonsense as you can finish 3rd and progress - it’s not fair that one group winner will play and 2nd place team and another winner will play a 3rd placed team. FIFA are so out of touch.
