It takes forever to bring anything into this country since Brexit - even footballers! Apparently confident he’ll have his visa by tomorrow- that probably means another week!

It takes us forever to do anything ….that’s the bottom line. Teams have players through the medical and signed in 24 hours….with us it’s 24 days later.

I thought this one was already over the line, but it seems not, or at least not yet.

Alarm bells started ringing when I looked through the Palace squad on the FPL site and noticed he wasn't listed. They rang a bit louder earlier when I checked his Wikipedia page and saw his current club was 'LUFC'. I know you can't put too much stock in Wikipedia, but still.

Just a work permit delay, then. Hopefully just a formality.

I am starting to wonder if Doucoure actually exists. Is he a real person or just some dream that we are all having. With the news of Macca injury we desperately need somebody in midfield now.

With a number of other clubs bringing in players from abroad with not to much hassle ,
this deal does start to get worrying . It hasn’t gone quiet , it’s gone silent. The question being is it dead? In fact was it ever completely alive.? After all Downes was ours. Wasn’t he? . Pessimistic, maybe, but any problem must be significant. for it to go this quiet, even the click bait has stopped.
Live in hopes though because we need the likes of Doucoure. And more.
